I fancy Leeds to do a job on Wire, Wire have looked a bit dis-jointed this season and Sir Kev-butt will be fresh and fired up.

I'll go for Warrington quite comfortably today but going to sit on the fence for Sunday's game due to the imminent forecast of bad weather. Normally would go for cas but feel the elements could well level it up

I think the opposite might me true. Widnes have a small pack so an arm wrestle in the rain would probably still favour Cas. A Cas-Leeds final is probably what everyone wants but the idea of losing to them in the final is almost too much to bare

I was really looking forwards to today’s game, but it didn’t do it for me.

I thought Warrington were pretty poor in the first half, Leeds were very conservative & although the improvement from Warrington in the second half gave the game a lift, it just felt like a couple of prize fighters, both past their prime, slugging it out.

I will be really surprised if Cas fail to get the result tomorrow, but if they do, I think they’ll do a number on Leeds in the final.

while i agree warrington were poor, mainly due to poor ball control and execution i thought leeds, first half especially, were supurb.
controlled, clever kicking, great chase and tackled everything that moved

Agreed.that performance overall from leeds reminded me of a typical GF one of recent years.great line speed and tough defence with a solid kick and chase and playing the percentages.nothing forced and take the chances when they come.

Not the greatest game overall but some good moments.hope the weather doesn't spoil tomorrows game as a spectacle.

no guessing who won the game then, wasn't a classic by any means but leeds did what they had to, their defence was very good when it needed to be, but warrington looked devoid of idea's apart from kicking high to joel monaghan.
nothing against widnes, but hope castleford make it a yorkshire final today.

Given the weather will the game go ahead today?

In East Yorkshire there is a lot of local flooding, thunder and lighting going over head currently and very, very heavy rain.

If the weather in Leigh is like it is here currently, I would be surprised if the game went ahead.

Really hope if it is cancelled that they announce so soon so people don't travel unnecessarily in this weather.

Betts needs to cancel his half time team talk and have 15 minutes catching practice.

Don't know how many Cas will get in the 2nd half but it looks odds on that Widnes will remain scoreless.

Horribly one sided game like betts think he could be a good coach but the players have no bottle or are just useless. Widnes will have to make some major changes next year one way or another.

Great defense from Cas today. They could have easily sat back after they had it wrapped up and let one or two in. But they were still playing for each other when it was a forgone conclusion,
