Nowhere. But imagine what people might have said if I'd used the word caucasion or worse still caucasoid? I'd then have to say mongaloid and negroid and where would the discussion go then I wonder? European, like African/Caribbean and Asian (none of which is a race) are descriptors used routinely to classify individuals in terms of their race when applying for jobs, for example. Personally I never complete those forms as it's got nothing to do with anyone what race I am. But they are the classifications used and so I used one.

Henderson was schooled in Australia, raised in Australian culture (regardless of whether his parents retained English culture at home), speaks with an Australian accent, uses Australian terms, played his rugby in Australia, wears clothes that are trendy in Australia, etc, etc. He grew up in Australia from the age of 5. All his influential years have been spent in Australia. Therefore, in every respect bar where he popped out of the womb and maybe went to nursery, he is Australian. You still haven't talked about the UN definition of racial discrimination. Why is that?
Can he not have dual citizenship? Or does the Australian citizenship override the British one for the same of your own argument?
Nathan Brown has said that he is not English. Do you agree?

Think you might be wasting your time. He seems intent on restating the same arguments that have been shown to be flawed on several occasions, in the hope that they will suddenly develop the veracity they have so far lacked.

| Quote ="SaintsFan"You are not talking about racism if you are discussing prejudice between nationalities. Racism is about physical features, not about nationality. .'"
That is my point really although I may not have explained it well.
Racism these days is a catch all phrase for prejudice against someone from a different cult, race, or geographical area.
So arguing the technicalities of the phrase is not really addressing the issue that Brown is generating.
At best he is Racial Stereotyping

Some generalise but others, who know the meaning of the word and use it as it is still intended, don't.
Some people went through a phase of using 'bad' to mean 'good'. That didn't change the meaning of the word 'bad' (or 'good' for that matter). Occasionally the language will evolve to mean something different but that hasn't happened here and common usage varies. However, the definition remains contemporary.
Quote At best he is Racial Stereotyping'"
Nah. He's cultural stereotyping. He hasn't mentioned any racial reference at all.

Because I'm not interested in the UN definition of racial discrimination.

Yes. Nowhere have I said he can't.
Quote Nathan Brown has said that he is not English. Do you agree?'"
Except he didn't say that.
Do you not know the meaning of the phrase about ducks?
The phrase about ducks means 'to all intents and purposes'. It is not, and never has been, a definitive statement. Brown did not say Henderson was not English. He said that to all intents and purposes he was Australian.

No, I mean, why consider an alternative definition, accepted by one of the biggest organisations in the world - an organisation that deals with such matters on a daily basis - when the online dictionary definition fits your biases a lot more closely.

Oh, wow. Really?
He said:
"Ian Henderson is an Australian. He is not a Pommie."
It couldn't be more definitive, you plank.

Indeed. I did find that response rather amusing.
He might as well have just said "I don't care what anyone else thinks, I've made my mind up!"

I don't think he's read that part yet. I'm guessing the next reply would be "where does he say that?"
It's funny how he hasn't answered the question about whether he thinks he's English or not. I'm guessing he'll decide his opinion when he actually knows what Brown means so he can back him up further!

| Brown should also be calling Tim Sheens and Ricky Stuart. According to his highly accurate speech 'test' James Tamou is definitely playing for the wrong country, and is ineligible for Origin.

| What's to stop all the top clubs coming to an agreement to take in two young world class Aussies or Kiwi's or some other island on the fringe of international selection and play a whole squad in 3 years time?
The RFL pay the wages so as not to trouble the clubs finances job done.

| I said that and it is possible, but it'd make it beyond ridiculous. ATM all we're doing is trying to play on a level playing field, despite people having the opinion that it's morally questionable and they're entitled to their opinion. That would be too far.
