I support Chelsea and Leeds Rhinos. If someone wants to criticise the finals we've won as being poor finals, I simply don't GAF. I'd much rather see us win a terrible final than seeing someone else win a classic.

Do I wish Leeds were boring their way to the Challenge Cup final yesterday? Yes I do. I think every other British RL club wishes they were in the position of Wigan yesterday. That doesn't stop the fact that to pretty much every RL supporter apart from Pies and Hull KR fans, yesterdays game was utter dross.

Neutrals aren't going to waste their time watching the match to check if it was as bad as they thought. They knew yesterday that they had already wasted their time on watching it the first time.

You can never watch a Wigan game as a neutral. As a neutral, yesterday's game was awful. No Challenge Cup final in my memory comes close.

I watched the full 80 minutes of the match yesterday. I wished I hadn't wasted my time. I only bothered to watch about 10 minutes of your semi final. It was clear from what I saw that it wasn't going to be worth watching.

The only redeeming feature of watching the CCF is discussing it on here. Apart from that, I think everyone else just wants to forget it happened. You pies should be celebrating another trophy and not discussing with neutrals and trying to say it wasn't that bad. To you it wasn't, because you were winning the sodding trophy, but to everyone else it was poor.

IMO Hull were the main culprits of yesterday's game stinking so bad. They lost a final AND they were the main cause of it being one of the worst finals ever. It's Pies who are on here saying it wasn't that bad though.

No we are not denying it was a bad game, however we have been backed into a corner by retards like YOU are who are using "the poor game" as an excuse to attack Wigan, its utterly pathetic. If opposing fans had said "well done, shame it didnt live up to expectations" or "unlucky with the conditions it spoilt the game" fair enough, but no, its anti Wigan yet again. Not everyone on here has it in for Wigan so I apologise to you. But when a small town in the northwest of england holds both the FA cup and Chellenge cup it would have been nice for a few compliments. Wigan can't compete with the wealth from Cities clubs such as Leeds/Bradford/Hull or the more affluent towns like Warrington, but somehow we have achieved something that may never happen again.

A fact is most people don't like Wigan but they're all big enough to call a game as they see it, I've seen many a thread by a neutral praising a pie performance, this, regardless of the occasion though was dross.

It has nothing to do with which teams contested the final, yes it was close, yes defences were very good, but ultimately the game was awful, mainly down to the amount of dropped ball.

Any newbies watching that display from two of the top clubs in the game must have been very unimpressed.

Wigan fans have spent the past two seasons ing and moaning about the play-off system for allowing Leeds to be rewarded with SL titles in exchange for their 5th placed regular season mediocrity. Yet they expect everyone else to bow down and celebrate their very own mediocrity yesterday in the most dreadful CC Final on record, and all this after being gifted the easiest draw to Wembley ever. They need to grow up. The game could really have done without that embarrassing shambles, particularly when it's the most viewed showpiece RL event of the season.

I think it's a remarkable achievement that Wigan has both the the FA Cup and Challenge Cup. The town of Wigan should be massively proud of this and milk it for all it is worth.

I think the FA Cup final was pretty boring too. If Man City had scored with a late header then that would have been an awful final because it would have been a billionaire team nicking a late victory against a relegated side. That WOULD have been my anti-Citeh bias and I fully admit it. But, at least for me, saying yesterday's game was bad has nothing to do with any anti-Wigan feeling. Generally I am pretty much pro all RL clubs and pretty much anti every football club apart from my own.

See, I can fully accept that Wigan deserve praise. But that doesn't stop me from thinking that yesterday's game was awful.

I support Chelsea FC. To me, our Champions League win was probably the greatest moment of my sporting life. To a great deal of Britain, they will say we are a plastic side who didn't deserve it and decry our win as simply because of Abramovich's money. Those opinions do not matter to me in the slightest. And when those opinions come from a bitter Tottenham or Liverpool fan it actually makes it even better.

Enjoy your win. Ignore the comments from neutrals who were bored by the game because our opinions shouldn't matter to you right now. You've got a beautiful shiny trophy to enjoy.

All I'm saying, as are many others, is that I watched the game as a neutral (actually I wanted Wigan to win) and as a big fan of RL, and at times I was bored sh*tless/embarrassed.
