Was looking at a few picture the other day and reading an article about the stands they had aquired from Scarborough and that they where put together solely by volunteers. Cracking support from the Rovers fans. Also know they took our old floodlights which will help Also loved Post office road.

At Odsal watching their team get relegated in greater numbers than Huddersfield fans were at their home ground. Only the two Hulls and Warrington drew bigger Huddersfield attendances than their Odsal equivalents.

FWIW, the one home game at Odsal this year almost drew as few as the London fixture in Huddersfield last year. Crowds are down this year, thus far.

44,257 in attendance this week (Round 4) compared to 51,220 in attendance for the same fixtures last season. That represents a -13.59% drop on last season.

I keep my own counsel on attendance figures these days because the Moonie majority can't cope with negative news.

SL is an atrocious product on life support and it's getting worse.

Shame really because RL used to be a decent product once upon a time.

I'm not seeing any posts by Gutterfax. I can only assume the Moaning Moonie Majority have whined that much that he's been banned.

I do have the stats Galliant but I won't be sharing them on here, despite all the fun to be had witnessing all the Moonies freaking out and frothing at the mouth over the pitiful attendance figures and then attempting to either pour scorn on them as an inaccurate portrayal or just simply attempt to shoot the messenger



Evidence last season also indicated that a certain Moonie publication was using my attendance figures and passing them off as their own in their published articles. The numbers they published and the timing and method of their publication was just way too much of a coincidence. They can do their own donkey work this season.

Suffice to say, the attendance figures thus far this season are hugely disappointing. Bear in mind that attendance figures during the first few weeks are always over-inflated due to excitement associated early doors with the new season. Attendances then stagnate and dip markedly during the summer months. The mere fact they are already down compared to last season is not good news.

It is always easy to tell how attendance figures are shaping up even without seeing any figures. If the figures are good, the Moonies will scream loudly about them, like they always do in Round 1. Then they go really quiet and STFU completely about attendances during the months of June, July and August when the figures are really crap.

On a related topic, I've noted there's been no mention of Sky viewing figures.

I wonder why?



A quick perusal of the viewing figures over at the BARB website explains why.

In comparison to last years Sky viewing figures (which incidentally were very poor and well down on previous seasons), this season they are even worse.

Currently 33% down on last season up to the beginning of March thus far.

None of that will rate a mention on the RFL website or in any of the Moonie RL websites or publications.

Must be the longest cancellation period in BT Sports subscription history

Irreparable damage has already been done to the game during the previous two decades, and particularly during the franchising experiment.
