Leicester Tigers ground, Sixfield in Northampton (maybe a little small) or Oxford Utd where I understand the Wigan owner still holds some sway.
All easy for both teams to get to via a range of transports, all have held RL in the past and all of a reasonable size

| The games should have been a double header in my opinion. BUT, LSV is a great choice and a great venue. I would much be in a packed crowd of 12500 than a half filled stadium. London cannot win really unfortunately. If they had justified attendances (instead of 2k), i am sure the RFL would have thought differently. They could though have just played it in London. Irrespective, they would still be outnumbered 7 to 1 !

Unfortunately I can't see there being a large crowd on given the ticket prices - £18, £20 & £26 pre purchase and add £2 to those for on the day purchases. Concessions are half price

| Quote ="gutterfax"Life it may well be, but in the spirit of the Challenge cup, the selection of Leigh is not a neutral in any way shape or form.
If Sheffield had turned us over, do you believe they would have been asked to play Wigan at Leigh? Would they love!
David Hughes has gone out of his way to mickey of the RFL in recent years....but he and his spineless gimp of a CEO need to make a stand here.....Leigh is a suburb of Wigan for christ's sake.....how is it neutral?'"
thats not nice gf we are a town forced under wigans foot back in 74 but i can understand your anger so as long as they open the south stand so us brothers can sit together i'll be ther supporting your lot.Come on london

| I think in a World Cup year, the RFL want to play it on the safe side, which is understandable. Sending thousand if Wigan fans down south, who will be buying up a lot of WC tickets, may stretch the finances too far. London WC fans probably won't watch the Broncos.
It's unfair on the neutral stakes, but I can see why they've opted for it.

| Quote ="gutterfax"6,237 bothered with Widnes.....do you expect any more to trek the 12 miles to Leigh to watch what many expect to be a hammering? Are you saying that Leigh fans will pile into the stadium just to boo Wigan
The RFL had better offer tickets for a tenner or they could well be looking at a sub 5k !'"
6k of them turned out at Widnes at the last minute for a first round playoff game. I imagine plenty more would travel to a neighbour town for a CC semifinal.

WTF
We have been told that the RLWC has already made money. Are you suggesting that the removal of a neutral ground for this game is now about maximizing profit?
Shame on the RFL
