| Gone for the Stoop .
Not just because it is a half-decent stadium , but because trips down there are the best away days by far .
The locals are friendly , and it is only a short walk to Richmond and all that it offers .

| Quote ="Sandal Wild Cat"One way or another we are out of BV after next season. We sold the ground about 18 months ago.
If all goes to plan we will be in The Wakefield Community Stadium by Feb 2012, If that goes pear shaped we wont get a franchise, which would probably mean being wound up, in which case we would need neither stadium.
Either way we have a very limited time at BV.
RL fans say your goodbyes to one of the last great traditional RL stadiums while you still can, this is the penultimate year.'"
Hopefully everything will go to plan, I was just being a bit over cautious

That may be true but it's seen more success than most RL stadiums in it's time.
And been graced by some of the all time legends.
If it's good enough for The King Wally Lewis, then it's good enough for me!
FWIW I think we should invite "The King" to open the new ground!- Imagine that photo hanging on your wall TRB!
(I hope you don't have to google Wally Lewis!!)

| Your chances of getting Wally down to wakefield again are VERY slim
It's just dumpy and it lacks atmosphere, if we're talking old grounds the Jungle is far superior imo
One thing BV does have though is a very nice surface, pity about the rest of it, i'd actually say its the worst ground in SL

| Of course it is. Yet has far better corporate and bar facilities than WR or The Willows.
Say what you will about the Benidorm flats, they make a fair old bit of cash!

The atmosphere underneath the low roof on match day is unbelievable!

| Thrum Hall was my favourite ground as a young 'un. At the moment though I do like The Shay, not so much the new stand, but the terracing on each end being well covered is always good. Quite like Willows too, can you still change ends there? I know you could before they were in SL

It would be a great idea to get all the big names of the past to open the new stadium but with the proposed Neil Fox statue set to be erected at the new site then I can think of only one man to cut the ribbon.

| I love the old atmospheric grounds with standing terraces, so it's Wheldon Road for me followed by Barrow's Craven Park.
Of the modern grounds I've always liked Huddersfield. Terrific atmosphere for the England v NZ international last Autumn.

| Voted for the Jungle, one of the best away games we go to and always a cracking atmosphere. As for the KC nice stadium but the atmosphere is definately lacking.

| During our brief encounter in the 'lower' leagues, Batley was a great day out, good atmosphere, friendly fans, cracking food and plenty of pre-match entertainment.

| You can't beat the Willows on a nice balmy summers evening with a great Wigan following underneath the stand behind the sticks. A great atmosphere and nice deep steps enabling you to see all the action without having to stand on your tiptoes when a 6' 2" brick $hithouse decides to stand in front of you!

| Yes. The Willows on a lovely sunny day or evening. A couple of pints in one of the best club bars (still) in Super League. Good-natured banter with opposition fans and Rugby League on one of the best pitches in Super League.
