| Good choices for the main awards all round, I think.
Would have liked to see Bateman get Young Player, and in other years he may well have done, but Hardaker is pretty exceptional and a deserved winner IMO.
I thought Westwood would edge it for MOS, and would have voted for him despite not liking him very much. But quite happy with Tomkins - depends if (like me) you think MOS means more a real hard bugger, or instead means a really skillful one (still hard, mind...). I often wish there could be two "MOS" awards, for that reason.
Doubt you will surprised that I can only express violent agreement with the COTY choice. No-brainer IMO, although had it not been him then at risk of severe derision I will say my next choice would have been Agar.

| Well done to Sam Tomkins. The guy is a rugby genius and a world class talent. Westwood and Roby have been brilliant too.
I've no problem with the Mick Potter award either, it would have been very easy for him to walk away. I thought Bradford would be right at the bottom this year but collectively they were superb under the circumstances.

For the first time on Saturday there will be three refs at a GF, Sinfield, Briers and A N Other.

| McGuire and Wigan have rebranded Tomkins very well. Less mouth, less cheating, working on Sky has all paid dividends
Now they just need him to show up in Semis and then he can win some worthwhile silverwear.

He's already won a Challenge Cup and a Super League, what have London Broncos won recently? A match against Skolars?

| I wondered why Wigan were paying stupid sums of money to clubs for players... It's to get their vote in "club of the year" award.
Well deserved though for all individual winners and no complaints at all.

| Tomkins MOS! He's the Ronaldo of RL ...... looks great for the cameras dancing around lower teams defences, waggling his feet and pulling faces at the crowd, then goes missing when he faces anyone decent ....... He'd make a fantastic attacking centre, but is a less than average fullback (but surely a decent coach would see that?).
As for 'Team of the Year' .....sorry ...... that'd be funny if it wasn't such an insult.
RFL/Sky keep telling us how much more important the GF is than the league, then give TotY to Wigan when, as has been pointed out, both Leeds & Warrington have reached GF. CCF, and U20's GF ...... and, according to MOS nominations each year, Leeds haven't even got any players worth nominating!!!
As for community work; there must be more days a year in Wigan, as Wire players/coaches turn up somewhere almost every day helping out causes (not just RL ones) in the town!
Can't wait for the New Years honours list when, on this basis, we'll no doubt see the announcement of Sir Shaun Wane!

It's Club of the Year you tit, not Team of the Year. And have a read about "Central Park" before you try and compare our community work to your beloved Warrington's.
