I think what they are saying is the long term future is West London. You may not know but West London Sharks receive significant support from the club community coaches and have a thriving youth programme, St Marie's Uni who play in the Uni SL, sponsor the club are based in Twickenham and receive support from the club.

Building through the community takes time. LMS, Clubb, Sharpe etc are the shoots of what is to come in terms of home grown players. LMS and Clubb come from the Greenwich area/club which aligns itself time wise to when we were at Charlton.

Support is no different. Charlton to Twickenham is an hours drive. We now have to target a new audience from a different region. How many fans up north would travel 60 miles to follow there club if it was relocated that distance.

You 'll never improve your crowd, your trying to compete with one of the best RU clubs going.

Quins RL will always be an embarrassment to the sport.

which involved car park, programme, a few other perks and a pre match meal...............the charge from QRU to the Broncos simply for providing each table with white cloth and cutlery was £35.00.

5th in the league with a game in hand is no embarrassment. Leeds were embarrassed at the ease with which we took them apart, as were Warrington........

In fairness, I've always found Charlton to be one of the most awkward grounds in London to get to and really out on a limb despite it being more or less next door to a train station.

From Euston, you can almost get to Birmingham quicker than you can get to Charlton.

You may as well have been Kent Invicta whilst there.

quins could get 20,000 per game and clowns like p marrow would still find fault, they are here to stay and are getting better all the time............just get over it.

Well, to be honest, we do. Apart from our pi55 poor crowds, we do have a development programme that is churning out some pretty impressive talent and all you have to do is look at the "futures bright" thread to find 2 cockneys in most peoples top 17 players.
Tony Clubb and LMS will be regular England/GB players in the not too distant future and they are the tip of a very large iceberg.
Then there are the number of Kids at under age level playing the game down here.....oh don't forget that we are also on the doorstep of the RFU HQ and WHEN the club get their marketing strategy sorted and we do get 7,000 odd into the Stoop, that will really annoy the hell out of the "supposed" enemy.
I am the biggest critic of our crowds and I will continue to be as long as we seem to be treading water, but make no mistake, we are here to stay!
Did I forget to mention the BradQuins? Sykes and Worlord are the darlings of the Bulls fans at the moment..........and although we didn't start them on their careers, we did shape them into the STARS they are now

was in london this weekend and saw a few quins RU fans.
couldn't help myself... asked how they'd gone on and they told me they'd lost to london irish.
'london irish don't play rugby league!' ...the look on their faces was priceless


we stayed right near the valley and the train/tube links were easy to use.
