There’s cheating and then there’s luck. I think Millennium Magic had more to do with a duet of luck and bad decisions from the referee.

Certainly not cheating. There’s tries from Bradford in that game that are dodgy.

Everyone talking about ‘fair competitions’ needs to ask themselves what’s fair about the Storm producing the likes of Inglis, Slater, Smith etc as well as making also rans like Lima into world class players and then having to lose them for SC reasons?

Effort & time have been poured into these players by the Storm so why should they be forced to let their investments go?

If teams can’t keep up then tough sadly.

Gonna be a massive fallout from this, i can see it.

What it will do is encourage News Limited to stay with Melbourne to right the wrong.

This pretty much secures News Limited's continued involvement with the Storm.

Because those are the rules. Rules apply even when you don't like them. If you think they are unfair, the honourable thing to do is protest or withdraw, not ignore them and lie. If you break rules, you are cheating. Sadly.

so if the storm and sharks fail, plus with 2 new teams in 2012 we could well see a 2nd brisbane side, a 2nd nz side, central coast and png.

their CEo has said they will be funding the club, they arent walking away

this doesnt mean they are happy with their company looking like they are backing cheaters.
