statistics show that RL should be getting AT LEAST the same TV money as AFL, if not more.

that extra $50 million pa is just on the current contract, let alone for any future increases.

further, once we begin really expanding imagine how much more we will be worth.

AFL has mortgaged its future on catching on in nsw and queensland and so far its failed. the same strategy by RU almost killed off the sport.

look at the kinds of players we produce :

4. jarred hayne

just in those 4 your have more skill than the top 4 players in union in the world or in AFL.

you really have to be proud of what the NRL has achieved with poor finances.

so we have two no names (from RU schoolboy backgrounds) and one player who has been signed predominantly as a publicity stunt by AFL. Hardly like the NRL is producing masses of players for other codes!

they tried to play first grade, and got dropped to reserve grade.

the nrl has lost between 30 - 50 players to other sports, throw in another 90 to super league and still its a fantastic competition.

the fact that other sports are chasing our players is a reflection of how good the sport is at producing them

when it comes to juniors the nrl beats AFL and union worldwide.

indeed if AFL is at all credible in queensland, why does it need to sign a RL player for publicity?

the brisbane lions have been around for donkeys years, won 3 straight premierships and still the sport isnt recognized enough in queensland?
