That's a pretty amazing effort from both. Much better when the SL club plays at the Championship club, as it brings in a huge crowd by Championship standards, as opposed to a usually much smaller crowd by the SL club's standards. Gives a much better image of the game (and a better atmosphere).

Are Crusaders going with that as their trademark then? Red with a green V? Think they could do with sticking to some kind of identifiable shirt (with different variations obviously) so they can build up some tradition.

Agree totally. The only bad thing these days is that a few years ago if a club like Oldham got Hull away it'd be a great pay day for them, but presumably they probably won't make much from this Sunday will they? (I mean with it been free to passholders).

I prefer the collar on the kukri one rather than the round Puma one.

The Crusaders away shirt will be the same as the home but with black where it is red and a gold V.

We are currently speaking to several other Championship clubs to try and release a range of retro look jerseys.

You should do a Hull KR one.

Has to add fuel to the argument for a heritage round in Superleague too.

All the clubs playing in their traditional 'old school' style jerseys.


Would be a good money spinner for the clubs in shirt sales too.

The interest from Fev fans has been unreal. We will end up making a lot more than the initial batch for sure.

This shirt was one of the first ever to carry a sponsor, hence the white logo on the front.

No, it is the lightweight polyester type, exact same shirt Widnes and Leigh are playing in now.

That was the request of the club, a heavy cotton can be done if required.

I intend to speak to York next week Wheels.

Hopefully they will be keen to produce an old shirt.
