Hull are a very goid side on their day, but just awfull other days, play off spot lost now with a wimper. Cas played well but Hull offered nothing.

Trueman is 20 years of age and has more of less single handedly guided Cas around this year with gales absence. He is an absolute class act and thoroughly deserves his call up.

Clearly problems in the Hull dressing room with Connor seemingly in the thick of it.

Minichello has been nothing but a model proffessional in his 5 years at Hull and I dont recall seeing him lose his temper on the pitch, but was absolutely seething at Connor when he was sinbinned.

Truman was likened as the new Roger Millward tonight, by guess who? Anybody hear it?

That said, Truman did have a good en' but if he's half as good as Millward, then he'll be one of the best players in the World.

Hull should take the £500k Leeds are rumoured to be offering and spend it on someone who actually wants to play Rugby rather than act a clown and the big man.

One day he will wind up the wrong person and end up with his face caved in. At that point he will fade into obscurity just like Fielden did.

Connor strikes me as the sort of player who could do really, really well under a good coach who can control his temperament. Unfortunately for him right now he's playing under Lee Radford.

Unless Saints choose to rest more than half the squad, as is our right, I can't see Hull having the quality to beat any professional side. They are terrible. I don't understand why particularly, there are some really good players in that side and they should be up there as genuine contenders this season.

Hull have had one of the best squads throughout Radford's tenure. They have the individual talent to beat any side but never the consistency. I can't believe he is still in the job.

The cup wins plus I can't imagine he's a highly paid coach . But I agree the individuals in that side and the levels of consistency are crazy

I wish Hull, Catalans and Leeds would hurry up and get proper coaches as it would transform the league IMO.

I posted last night on our forum that I think we should cash in on Connor and spend the money on getting a top full back in. We already have Fonua coming who is a great replacement in the centres for Connor, and Shaul just offers nothing anywhere near the likes of Coote or Hardaker. A full back in a similar mould to those 2 would give us much more attacking threat near the line.

Personally, I think we could have Craig Bellamy and Wayne Bennett as coaches, Ponga at fullback, the two Fifitas at prop and play in the North West counties competition and still lose the Grand Final. I think we're cursed personally. The only way to improve it is a full exorcism including sacrificing a goat in all four corners of Old Trafford.

It gives me no pleasure saying it; he is totally committed to the club he obviously loves, but just not of the required level. Not that many are.

Put Wane in charge of that Hull squad and they'd win a GF within two years.

That is the problem, coaching a side that broke the Wembley hodoo and backed it up with a win the next year has made him teflon to some people.

In the 6 years of his tenure our results in September are W4 L16, that isn' "coming good at the business end of the season"!
