I was in the top of the East Stand for the last drubbing by the Aussies (04?) and while the view of the pitch was fine, we were too high to see the screen. I seem to remember it was quite cramped up there too. I'm not tall but had to sit at an angle to get my legs in properly.
East Stand lower was fine the following year though. |

I would think that the two blocks opened on the Super league website for the game are now sold out, thatll be the reason, as you cannot click on them to see what seats are available. |

With only 2,000 left (and plenty of blocks free) I can't see that 37,000 tickets have been sold

Looks like the cost of opening the top tier outweighs the potential ticket sales in the opinion of the RFL. Or maybe they didn't expect it to sell out, I know that Leeds United have had to inform the police in advance when opening the top tier for big games...

It's the RFL all over. They bang on about getting people to watch international RL and tomorrow they'll be pretty much locking people out even though there are 9,000 empty seats inside the stadium.

But why weren' Wigan and Huddersfield full. The RL don't have faith in our fans and can you blame them.
I booked my final tickets before we played New Zealand but how many English fans would have attended if we had been beaten. |

 but its only just sold out now. Hardly going to be locking many people out when the games tomorrow. Anyone who does want to go and now cant maybe shouldnt wait untill the day of the game to buy a ticket.

A mate of mine didn't know until today that he'd be able to attend, while another and his missus have only managed to get the day off work today. If it was sold out then I'm sure they could accept it, but not being able to get a ticket when there are going to be 9,000 empty seats is an absolutely ridiculous situation. Suppose it serves the RFL right for persisting with such a hole of a ground. |
