| Quote ="JEAN CAPDOUZE"Salford, Widnes, and either Wakefield or Hull KR. (My preference is Wakefield go down because of their paltry fan base and dreadful ground).
That would make a fantastic Super League:
[iWigan
St Helens
Warrington
Leeds
Hull FC
Hull KR
Huddersfield
Castleford
London
Catalans
Toulouse
Toronto[/i
That would leave room for future expansion to include [iNew York[/i and [iBoston[/i in a 14 team Super League, and later [iMontreal[/i and [iAvignon[/i in a 16 team Super League, and even later possibly [iPhiladelphia[/i and [iParis[/i in an 18 team Super League. Once we got to the 14 team situation I have described, the media in Britain and France would start to sit up and take notice of Super League. By the time we get to 16 teams the same will happen to the media in north America. However this scenario assumes two major developments:
(1) a switch to licencing from P & R by the RFL.
(2) a recruitment of majority local players from the expansion countries, because there aren't enough quality English or Antipodean players to fill 16 or 18 SL teams.
Toulouse is showing that this is no pie-in-the-sky regarding France, because they now have a large majority of French players. They only need a couple more Antipodeans to compete well in Super League. Toulouse's ascent into Super League will attract more French youth away from rugby union and into our game. The same thing will happen, though more slowly perhaps, in the case of the north American teams.'"

Current average attendances for homes games in 2018........I suspect anything south of 5k has no place at the top table so London and Toulouse are non-starters and Toronto need to declare real gates this year and no la la land ones......
Catalans 7,551
Huddersfield 5,794
Widnes 5,351
Wakefield 5,112
Salford 3,421
Leigh 3,644
Featherstone 2,405
Toulouse 2,134
Halifax 1,741
London 1,072
Toronto 0...

| You may laugh but it’s likley Toronto will top your attendance table come the end of the season, despite been an expansion club in the Championship.
That’s pretty poor for the Super League clubs that have been around for 100+ years.

| Toulouse just annihilated Barrow (who beat 2017 Super League side Leigh)
Toulouse racked up 50 points with 9 different try scorers.

For those who missed it, highlights of a terrific top of the table contest between Toronto and Toulouse. Many of those tries were of good Super League quality. Two great teams:

That is not true. The defence of each side was strong, but some of the attack was brilliant.
For Toulouse Paul Marcon, Mark Kheirallah, William Barthau, Stanislaus Robin, Jonathan Ford, and Justin Sangare are SL quality players.

Good to hear, in all honesty I can only see Toronto troubling the middle 8s from a champ perspective (Leigh have a good squad and are runnng into a bit of form, but even if they got in the 8s wouldnt do much from 4th). That's purely because I believe Toronto will strengthen further, would Toulouse have he finances to do the same

| TBH I think London were overachieving at the start of the season. They still have a very good chance of finishing in the top 4, but are much in need of a win.

| Toronto have signed prop Darcy Lussick.
Lussick looked set to leave the club a fortnight ago, however a string of injuries left Manly reluctant to release him given the number of players in the crowded Sea Eagles casualty ward.
The Sea Eagles and Lussick have reached an agreement that would allow him to depart the country immediately to join the Wolfpack in their quest to gain promotion into the English Super League next year.
