Thats the whole reason even the clubs wont find out the full details. The easiest way the RFL could do it is if they just came straight out and said that Quinns, Crusaders and Catalans were exempt from been de-franchised. That way at least the other teams know where they stand.

Whats going on? Quins at top of table! Congrats to them they have been brill so far this year but sadly, I doubt they will drop further down the table as the season progresses. If they could stay in the top 8 it could be fantastic for Powell and his men.

Are we really expected to believe that a bloke who's younger than some of the leeds squad can coach a team of nobodies to a win at headingley and 1st place in the league. One who only started playing when he went to uni in Newcastle and got his coaching start at South London Storm?

I have never agreed with how the RFL give such massive concessions to expansion teams at the expense of "heartland" clubs.At the end of the day they are the bread and butter of rugby league. The RFL should respect that rather than make it obvious they don't want some clubs, in favour of other clubs without propper infrastructure. However, the London based club is starting to bear fruit. Even though I am a through and through northerner I felt proud hearing Louis Mcarthy-Scarsbrooks cockney accent during an interview recently. The club is just missing good marketing, and identity after such a nomadic existence. They need their own ground, somewhere more accessible than they are now. It will take time, but it's the only way to long term success. Anyone who does not believe in the importance of the London club is a fool. They simply have not had someone in charge with the ability to put in the right level of investment.

Yes, we were placed in the comp without winning promotion and yes, we were allowed extra overseas players for 3 years longer than anyone else.........but give we broke no regulations in 2005....I wam keen to see what other MASSIVE CONCESSIONS we have received. I would also like to know what teams other than the cougars (London) and widnes (dirty french) have been treated badly?

I have no doubt you feel good that London kids who were 9yrs old at the start of SL are now playing at the top level, but sweeping statements like "MASSIVE CONCESSIONS" do you no favours

Nope....as you well know.
The ESL Chairmen voted to let us continue in that years comp (2005) and keep our points. After that, the RFL changed the rules regarding administration, but at the time, we broke no rules. No money changed hands and the only people not to get paid were the Inland Revenue.........so there was no "bail out"....but you knew that roofs



In fact, I believe that if anything, the RFL shafted us by letting Ian Lenegan buy Wigan and yet keep a controlling stake in us..........the only people who gained from that were Wigan......we were hamstrung. As soon as Lenegan had to let our shares go, we got rid of the deadwood (Leeds are welcome to him) and now look at us......the Most British Club in SL and on top of the tree!

But still with no-one watching.

Were not KR in administration for a couple of seasons and threatend with expulsion unless they came out and didn't the RFL "help" them out?

We are debt free.......we have no (nor do we want one) overfdaft.......we play in a state of the art stadium.....our fans (neither of them

) have ever caused trouble at a game or invaded a pitch....our team are the second most British in the competition.......we have a young English coach........and we are currently 3 from 3 with one of those wins against a side that spanked you at caravan park.

1700 isn't enough for a club to warrent an SL licence, that's my point.

In my OPINION............the following doen't warrant a SL licence
A 3 stadium

10 overseas players..........with hardly any players that will see 1st team action that have come through your academy (see widnes for an example of how it should be done)

crowds that cause trouble, throw items on the pitch and (according to your own boards) use abusive language towards players and visiting fans alike.

A club with debts that the chairman isn't keen to pay

did I mention a 3 stadium....you can polish a turd and all that........



yet, it's just our crowds that you have issues with.



By the way, neither your opinion nor mine count for anything....it's the "expansionists" at SKY TV and the RFL that count. I reckon you should merge with the bigger and better club in Hull to make way for Tolouse



They should call the new club HULL RLFC and to keep the peace, take the white colour from your strip and the balck from FC

Let's see where our club and your experiment is in the league come the end of the season eh.



Oh, and I reckon we'll take more fans to Cas on Sunday then you have home fans, that's the difference between a real RL club that people care about and an experiment that people in London hardly even know is there.

Don't you take more fans everywhere you go than any other clubs' number of home fans? I mean you do have 56,000,000 fans after all........

I'd rather have 1,700 fans who behave as against 56,000,000 which includes such classy elements as this.

Would find it cringeworthy to say the least if Sky viewers decided to check out SL one night as they're chilling out and were greeted by the pathetic sight of 1700 for a top-flight game, will never happen with real clubs though.

Still a couple of things which bug me about that pic:

1. How has the Hull fan's shoe come off?
2. Which side is the blue t-shirt guy on?

I like the look of that steward charging in top right, I would not want to get in the way of that. Sign him up boys!
