This shows for me how far behind the times RL is to a sport like Football where abuse happens every week and is generally accepted as part of the game, which even players enjoy (apart from racism). This sport is sadly falling behind others and it shows with the stuck up old...men who are the top of the RFL.

regarding 'abuse' - it comes in many forms some acceptable and some degrading and even illegal - it's a wide subject matter - one mans abuse is another mans egging-on or 'avin a laugh

The last premiership football game I went to was Chelsea Liverpool at Stamford Bridge

If you two are looking for that kind of atmosphere at RL games, I won't be joining you - it looks good on TV but when you get close to some of the animals on the terraces then you see a very different reality

can't be any worse than the football grounds in the 70s when anything seemed acceptable,before,during & after the match
