If London manage a few more victories, it could put Leeds, Wigan and Huddersfield under some serious pressure.
Of those 3 clubs, Leeds look to be in most danger.
With an ineffective pack and very average looking halves they could be in serious trouble.
Both Furner and Lam have been left with squads in transition.
As for Huddersfield, I wonder if they are missing their ageing, ill disciplined HB
Brough is going fine at Trinity (excepting a couple of sin binnings) and his kicking game alone is worth a spot in most SL sides.
As for Hull last night, they came second in all departments although Shaul looked pretty good at the back and his kick return and dealing with Brough's kicks was excellent.

| Right, so if London do amazingly well and stay up (in what is mainly their championship squad) right now, who would you HONESTLY expect to get relegated ??
I'll go for Huddersfield.

Wigan or Leeds. Both look hopelessly out of their depth in SL

| I think Shudds have got something to work with.
I think Wigan will force it through with grit and violence.
Its Leeds, Leeds are looking all at sea right now but it is only game 6 so there is plenty of opportunity for somebody else to disappear down the plughole.
Still got London for bottom 4, they're not looking like nailed on bottom finishers though tbh

They are the easy choice, mainly because most people would expect Leeds and Wigan to come good.
More impotently, does anyone expect them to be "allowed" to get relegated.
After the recent support from Elstone following their point's deduction, he will probably bring some kind of new rule exempting previous champions from being relegated or, maybe, increase the number of clubs in the top flight.

| Firstly, congrats to London on a great win last night. For all that Leeds and Wigan are struggling at the moment I do expect them both to come good at some point and get enough wins to take them into the safety. I hope London can stay up as I think it’s good for the game to have a team from the capital in SL, especially when negotiating TV contracts etc.. At the moment Huddersfield look the favourites for bottom spot, but a lot depends on injuries with them. Why they got rid of 2 halfbacks I don’t know! Brough is playing fantastic at Wakey and has the best kicking game in SL currently. Far too early to call anything, though, as a team with a thin squad (Salford as an example) could pick up a few injuries and fall quickly. I believe Hudds have 9 or so injuries currently, Wakey now about 7 or so, Hull have had that many they’ve had to bring a player out of retirement, and we’ve had a list of anything between 6 and 10 since the start of the season. All 4 of those teams injury lists contain key players. If Salford pick up a similar injury list of 6 to 10 players, including Hastings, Lui, Evalds etc.. how would they cope with their small Squad? It would only take a few losses to send someone towards the bottom at the moment. Interesting season ahead.

Again well done London must admit I actually thought they played well at our place in our 24-0 victory and Leeds who hammered us (as usual) wern't as good as them but that's us against Leeds.
I agree with you it's absolutely possible and I accept none of our spine Evalds Lui Hastings and Lussick are out and I pray it stays that way, but out of our 25 man skinny squad we had Seven players missing through injury for our away trip to Catalan so it's not as if we have nobody on the treatment table, and they were Mossop Sau Chamberlain Johnson Wood Tompkins and McCarthy makes our victory seem even better as anyone who had boots got a game.
I believe Chamberlain and McCarthy are back in the 19 for our trip to your place and Adam Walker who is eligable for his first match since his ban ended.

| Luke Yates is a great fit for London.
I assume most of their players aren't used to training at a professional level.
Because Yates is basically a midget, he has always had to train much harder than others.
He made the NSW under 16s, 18s and 20s sides simply because he worked so hard they couldn't leave him out. He won a minor premiership in under 20s and a premiership in reserve grade and was one of the best forwards in both those squads.
The year he made firstgrade he was only on a train for contract basis, so he didn't have an off season. He showed up at pre season fully fit and ready to blitz everyone.
This year the Knights let him train with them for the first half of pre season, basically because having a guy who trains as hard as him around is great for the squad, even though he wasn't staying.
Because of his diminutive size, he has always had to be the most professional and hardest trainer in his agegroup, and he has forced his way into top sides since he was 14 years old.
I'm going to say there would be very few players anywhere in Rugby League who train as hard and as professionally as Luke Yates, and I suspect some of that has to have rubbed off on his new team mates.

| Good team spirit in that London side, when we beat them 26-0 last week they never gave up, they just need 1 or 2 more creative players to get more wins and keep away from that bottom end of the table. The problem is when they have a bad spell of results they need to get back on the horse, wouldn't surprise me if they spring a few more shock results though and thats against any team.

| Great start for London Broncos. Downside will be that coaches will take them more seriously, and will try and plan more thoroughly when about to play against them. No easy games in SL, every point to be battled for.

Eh? This makes no sense. Are you saying that if Saints were playing Wigan, Holbrook would be like “lol it’s only Wigan, no need to plan for the game”. Ergo, professional coaches will always plan for the opposition regardless of their league position. You make it sound like teams are given the week of if they play London

so, an f was missing, big deal.
What you posted is utter tosh, coaches will prepare for London just the same as they prepare for any other team. Be it Batley, Doncaster or St Helens.

So, we wont have any coaches resting players for games where the opposition are at the lower end of the table, or from a different league? Yet you accuse me of posting tosh.

They "sorted it out" by appointing a new coach.
Tbf, he seemed to have them going pretty well but injuries, coupled with the inevitable loss f confidence have really set them back and again, a victory against the current Wigan side is no affirmation of form.
They seem rudderless at the moment but, if London are going to survive, I'm ok with Shudds going down
They could always merge with Toronto or Toulouse

| I can see the Giants turning it round from what I've seen of them so far this season. Saints only ran away with it due to them running out of bodies. Even though Saints looked too good at times, it was a bit of a blowout score in the end, that didn't reflect the first 55mins. It was similar against Wire but without the injuries and we played worse to be honest. Take into account these will be the top two teams, I've seen enough to think we'll be ok. Below Saints/Wire/Cas I thhink its going to be a very competitive league this year.

Every Club that is promoted 'on the field' including London deserves their "day in the sun" & London have to be applauded for some outstanding early season results.
