Unbelievable refereeing here. Leeds player (from behind) knocks the ball out by dragging the arms, classed as a strip. Carmont blatantly and deliberately punches the ball out in a two man tackle, classed as a Leeds knock on.

Yep right team won, but those calls by Sliverwood were frankly bizarre, he just kept piggy backing Wigan up the field when they shouldn't have been anywhere near.

Don't you watch any other sports? Soccer seeing dives, goals over the line not given and players diving around. The NFL reffed by clueless amateurs. Our refs are no worse, and probably a lot better, than any other sports.

Silverwood had a very good first half, but made a few errors in the second. Whatever happened with the Burrow no-try wasn't anything to do with him, he correctly referred it to the Video Ref.

Given the amount of calls a referee has to make in a game you have to accept he'll get some wrong. Yes (like tonight) they were big calls but overall I thought Silverwood reffed the game well and tried to let the game flow.

RL fans spend far too much time moaning about referees. We should be talking about what a great game that was. One of the best games of RL you'll see.

Silverwood refereed that second half like wigan were saints and leeds were warrington..... it was a shocking display from him.

if O'Loughlin would have pulled a gun out in the second and shot rob burrow in the head, wigan would have got a penalty.

Leeds dominated wigan, sinflield kicked them to death, leeds game plan was superb.....the game shouldnt have come down to 1 point..... Leeds won the game but were still robbed.

No, don't watch other sports, just see what the majority see too many bad performances of the officials, probably at an all time low this season.
Only one decent referee in Ganson this season, the rest are unbelievably poor.

Try so other sports, to get a sense of relativity. You'll realise RL refs are actually relatively good.

But they are not. On the whole they are low calibre people and are only doing the job because they were on such a short list of possible candidates. Look at the inconsistencies in tonights game alone for example.

Really? Soccer and it's dives, ball over the line not being a goal, play acting, can't judge their offsides, deliberate handballs in key world cup qualifying games, play acting and dives and play acting? And you think RL is bad?

For a 15-20 min period in the second half, Leeds were absolutely caned - thought they did well to hang in there in the face of some bizarre decisions.

I've watched over a thousand games of rugby league in my current life time and can probably make a fairly non biased judgement of the standard of RL officials.

Why would I look at other sports to get a minority fragmented viewpoint to make our officials look better when in rugby league terms it is'nt.

Without watching other sports, what are you comparing rugby league officiating to? Everything in life is relative.

The Wigan player has every right to tackle the player and there has to be some responsibility placed on the ball carrier in terms of scoring the try...you can't expect the defender to just let him score?!

Whether he's gone into the tackle with his knee is unclear from what we saw, but it can never be a 'high tackle' when he's just off the floor!
