Good for him, McNamara is a numpty for not picking him over Chase. Why the hell are we having to 'pretend' Chase is English when we have a first class player in Brough available.

On current form Id struggle to suggest anyone from the Leeds team to play for England (apart from Watkins)

McGuire shouldn't be anywhere near the England squad for the WC. There are better 6 and 7's before him now and with a minimum 3 months out with a broken leg taking him to the play-offs he's gonna lack severe match fitness com October.

If that isn't the trigger to sack MacBanana then he's got the job for life

Oh and if by some miracle Sinfield plays a captains knock in ANY of the World Cup games, I'll come on here and eat humble pie with relish

Look I'm not saying he's been England's best (apart from the 2 NZ games that is) but he's been far from England's worst, if you could see past your anti Leeds/Sinfield bias you'd realise this.

Good on Brough for sticking two fingers up to Mcnamara - as an England fan obviously i would like to see brilliant, exciting players like him representing my country - for some strange reason though the national coach doesnt share that view and has messed him about to the point where he has opted to not be considered, that to me is a travesty for England RL as we had the chance to see a truly flair player playing for us.

As a Giants fan i will continue to turn up every week and watch this genius rip the rest of Super League, and indeed those deemed better than him by the very same coach , a new one !!

give it a rest. He's a very very good half back having a great season so far in a very good team, but he's been there before hasn't he and not been able to take it to the next level hence 1 CC winners medal in his whole career, I hope he goes well for Scotland it will be good to see the home nations do well in the WC.

Also you do have the chance to see an 'exciting' player, Chase is very much a 'exciting' player.

And really is it good to see a player 'stick two fingers up' at the national coach because hes been left put of the squad, I would have thought it shows a much better attitude to continue to play well and say he wants to earn a place in the WC squad at the end of the year, spitting the dummy out 6 months before the tournament may show some incite into why McNamara doest want him in the team and why Brough has had quite a few clubs in his career.


Having said all that I would have him in the exiles squad bet hey ho, it wont make or Break Englands chances in the WC.

Good for you, shame the rest of the town don't seem to want to support what is a very good RL side.

Would've liked to have seen Chase & Brough in the halves. Brough's been the best 7 in the league, Chase has been the best 6 in the league.
