| Hudds V Warrington could be tight too, whoever loses is 0 for 2 and already pressure will start to mount.

I'll go along with those.
As you say, Wigan and Hull FC may be close and Cas v Widnes could also be interesting.
Was last week a blip for Cas and/or are Widnes as good as Betts believes.
You would have to go for Cas on their own pitch but, another loss and the "faithful" will already be asking questions.

Widnes vs Catalan - For me two poor sides, it always boiled down to who wanted the win and had the right attitude and as we have seen from Catalan over the past few seasons they just don`t want to play for each other - Looking at the highlights Catalans defense was nothing short of embarrassing in that second half.
Cas and Saints are 2 quality teams, Cas may have been under prepared but Saints were brilliant and would have done that to most teams on Friday i think.
I fully expect a massive backlash from Powell and his men, so i predict a heavy Cas win.

Saints the following week as well for Hudds, bloody tough start for them. I can see them playing Wakey away in week 4 with 0 points on the board.

They`ll have 0 points after that game as well i suspect
Why on earth they would not learn there lessons from last season and come in with a paper thin squad is beyond me.. They only have 19/20 players fit to actually play.

| As far as Wakey v Hudds is concerned a thin Huddersfield squad is little to read into. As Huddersfield proved last season they are Wakey's bogey team and even with a weakened squad they can still turn us over. Don't under estimate the potential of an opposition.

I wouldn't write them off against Warrington at home this week yet. On the other side of things if Warrington lose then they have Widnes away followed by Wigan, Hull and Saints so could have little from potential 12 points.

| Just a question, that I'd be be grateful if anyone can answer.
At elland rd tonight, when the referee went to the big screen. In the ground the screen was just an advert and then a spinning wheel with the decision. So we really had no idea what was going on. Or how he reached the final decision. Or why he'd gone to the screen in the 1st place.
Why has this changed?
At least before you could the decision process. And had an idea what was going on.

They have a video ref sponsor now, hence the new spinning wheel graphics, but you would think they would still show the replays on the big screen. Does anyone know if it was like that at last weeks games.

| Warrington sounded poor, but then again what do you expect with the lack of a strong bench and your main pivots being Ratchford, Brown and Patton?

Both teams were very poor, could have fallen asleep watching the game. As a neutral watching the game i worry for both sets of fans as if they play like that i cant see them picking many wins up. Saying that its only the second game of the season and a lot can change.
What struck me about Warrington was how everything stopped at Ratchford.. They looked quite fluent in attack until he got hold of the ball and doesn`t seem to know what to do with it, which 9 times out of 10 results in him switching up direction and running around like a headless chicken. I have always liked Ratchford as a player but i think Wire would benefit from a steady fullback that can chime in the line.

| Shocking result in the Friday night game. Silly Salford scored three tries to two tries by wicked Wakefield. Silly Salford deserved to win but could not kick a goal. So wicked Wakefield got the two points.
Incidentally, what a joke of a ground that Belle Vue is. One stand located along one sideline with only about 6 rows. On the opposite side no stand at all. Then at one end behind the posts a small stand, and at the other end a building that looks like an apartment block but isn't. What a dreadful venue for watching rugby league!
