Two things spring to mind here....

One, Hudds are still totally dependent on Wakefield for players.

Two, I assume George is good now he's at Hudds.

Aye, its a good job they are going well, or there would be the scratching sound on the door at Belle View and the thud as Uncle Ken's wallet gets dropped on the desk again !

Funny that considering Wakey poached George from Huddersfield by offering him more money and paying a £5K transfer fee.

He came through our academy and was good friends with Cudjoe and McGilvray.

Most Wakey fans were glad to see him go from what i remember too injury prone etc It was Murphy they wanted to keep. Yet Murphy cannot get into our team and George is playing brilliantly.

No doubt about it George is better in Huddersfield colours than he ever was in Wakey's.

Its fair to say we'd like Mr Davey's cheque book, and you may be right about George, but theres still Brough, Ferguson, Lee, Grix, Mason and Murphy to go at All British, but not club trained.

I always rated George yet oddly ALL Hudds fans claimed he wasn't good enough for them when we had him - see a pattern here?

Personally I wanted to keep both but Hudds being the scavengers they are pounced whilst Wakey lay wounded and unable to fight back - see a pattern here?

He played very well last year, I assume that's why you wanted him.

George was always going to make it injuries permitting, so be a good player in any teams colours - see a patter here?

We must all be grateful you gave all this rubbish such a chance. Hell if you actually signed players from a top club who could play and didn't need re-training you might actually win something. Just a thought.

There'll be less crowing when he takes up residency on the physio's bench; a good player, but his legs are made of biscuits.

Clearly we had the mix wrong, we had him playing with soft crumbly Digestive type legs. Now at Hudds they use a more robust mix and he now has legs like Dog Biscuits. Isn't it incredible the technology and resources they have at Hudds - we can but dream.

Ken Davey bought him some new, robo-legs; he's a futuristic, cyborg RL player, controlled from the dugout by a ps3 joypad.

I'll admit I was surprised when we signed George, but he's taken his chance well and no mistake. He didn't get a look in in his first stint with us (you know, when he came through our youth system) but IIRC that was under Sharp who failed to develop any of our young players properly IMO.

As for Wakey. Face it, your a small time feeder club.

Which makes you the predator or bottom feeders - how apt.
