I must admit I'm trying to work out how more people watching Championship games on TV is "the wrong thing"

its not "more people" its "record numbers" its only been on for a couple of years and smacks of desperately trying to hype something up.
If it was continues to go from strength to strength or, reaches wider audience fine. But RECORD figures for something thats only been on telly for three odd years is pretty silly.

They're annoying but they're right.
Watching an NRL game followed by a SL game is embarassing, tbh sometimes I think a lots in the presentation.
Watching a Chp game after that..my god, lets not go there

A lot of the games have been far more entertaining than the SL games, plus the commentry team is far better than Eddie, Stevo & dull Phil

Ive explained before, im not the championships biggest fan, I just cant see past the slower tempo and at times woeful defence. Give me a 16-10 well constructed tries anyday over a 40-30. That one between gateshead and sheffield earlier in the season was embarrassing, i thought i was watching basketball. Still i think i'll head down on sunday, probs shouting for barrow though.
