Maybe at Super League level he'd just got to that stage of not being quick enough any more to be a centre but not done enough grunt work to put him in the second row. I liked him as a player and I hope he does well at York.
Atkins has always spoken highly of Wakefield and says he owes us his career after the Bradford move. I would have liked one more season with crowds what I've seen this year he is still a top class centre and at times shows Lynn what top class centre play is.
