Went to watch under 18s today, we have a player of quality in the making & mature in application & execution, attack & defence, but hits in defence, great contracted off loads, however he needs more energy which comes with full time, can we keep him, not sure, other clubs will have taken note. He is squad No 16, Sam Eseh, a natural gifted player with excellent timing.

There is plenty of talent in our 16s upwards, the best I’ve seen for some time and it’s all down to our scholarship staff with Mark Applegarth at the helm.

I know that the England Academy coaching staff are a bit concerned about the lack of quality props for this years to tour Australia & NZ.
Do you think Sam Eseh could step up to that level, albeit he is a year younger ?
