I was surprised that the 'match officials' thread was locked - then I read my post back.
It wasn't intended as an accusation against kirmudgeonly, but it did read like that.
In the first half I referred to 'your opinion' in a direct sense. At the bottom, I referred to 'if you play sport' in a general sense, as in someone/anyone.
In the middle I wrote "If you really believe an official is corrupt, put it in writing so that you can get your day in court."
This was also meant to mean 'someone/anyone' but it didn't read that way.
