| Remember Silverwood when he was in his teens. before Super League,
used to go in the Taverners club at Headingley with his father George,
I think they called him. Not got a problem with this, but a bit bored & thought I'd
mention it.

| The standard of refereeing across the board has been dire this season. Cummins quite frankly needs to go.
The only Brit I can think of who should even be allowed to replace him however, is Russell Smith. What's the odds on the RFL trying to get a top Aussie ref (Don't get to watch NRL, so don't know any names) to run the show?

| Consistency is silverwood's main issue IMO...
He sent off Sam Moa for a shoulder charge, yet allowed Elima to stay on for an elbow in the face of Gaskell and Lauaki stays on after one of the most dangerous tackles I have seen in SL because "he was lucky he landed on his back", after he was already on report for leading with the forearm
Furthermore he puts Foster in the sin bin and gives an 8 point try against him for a foul after the try was scored, yet Leuluai drops late on Briers after he scored on Friday and no further action is taken.
It just seems that one week an offense is punished and the next a similar (or even worse) incident goes unpunished and if we are to improve our game we need to make sure the refs get a grip with the rules and are consistent
