I have had a look and can't find this mentioned elsewhere but we seem to have struck up some sort of partnership with Serbian side Red Star Belgrade.
Quote Red Star Rugby League Club’s three young stars, Miloš Čalić, Vojislav Dedić and Vladislav Dedić, are enjoying their trip to one of the heartland capitals of rugby league.
After their first outdoor drills training and gym sessions with the Rovers u20s, the Belgrade boys headed into town to seek out all those much-needed dietary supplements and protective equipment that are either unavailable or twice the price in Serbia.
They then spent Saturday afternoon on the fields of the West Hull RLFC club, watching Wests take on local National Conference League rivals Myton Warriors in a pre-season friendly on one pitch, while Hull KR u20s vs. St. Helens u20s was going on next door.
Sunday afternoon proved the highlight so far in terms of viewing, with the boys joining 8,000 Rovers fans at MS3 Craven Park to watch Hull KR take on St. Helens, with the Robins unlucky to only earn a 36-36 draw against last season's Super League grand finalists (check out the highlights here www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqw9XAZnmiQ).
The players have four more sessions under the guidance of Hull KR u20s coach Kev Deighton and his professional support staff, before heading back to Belgrade in time for Red Star's final two pre-season matches.
This is the first exchange between Red Star and Hull KR since the clubs formed a friendly twinning arrangement late last year, but Red Star are hopeful that a few of the Rovers u20s might be keen to earn some game time in Serbia and that KR coaches could be enticed to join them to help advance game skills and knowledge among Red Star staff and players.'"
