Quote ="TFC"I think that the Super League is in a great position at the moment, unfortunately the National Leagues are not. Couldn't be bothered to read beyond the first 3 posts as it got the Virtual Terrace virus (like most threads do). It will be interesting to see how the league will look in 10 years time.
As a Wakey fan I am sort of looking forward to a stint in the national leagues, nothing about our current situation indicates we should be playing in Super League, maybe in a years time that might all change. My only worry is that heartlands clubs like us and the rest won't get a look in next time round. I just can't trust Richard Lewis and his cronies at Red Hall, after the countless blunders that the sport has encountered during their reign.
I wish the RFL would be crystal clear on their motives and not keep fans in the dark. For example why bother letting certain teams apply for a SL license when there isn't a hope in hell of getting one.'"
I have two questions regarding this port
Firstly, what are these countless blunders that the RFL leadership has made since Richard Lewis has been in charge?
Secondly, what do you suppose the reaction would be if the RFL actually told clubs that they were not even allowed to apply for a licence?
