Gary Hetherington killed off any chance of Leeds v Bradford being a big derby by taking the Bulls to court and putting massive financial strain on them and in turn effecting the quality of the players they signed!
old faithfull, we roam the range together
old faithfull, in any kind of weather
when the round up days are over
and the boulevarde is full of clover
youll ole faithfull pall of mine
the saints / wigan derby has the benefit of 2 clubs who have been very succesful collectively over 20 years. both also having long stints at the top level (both being in division 1/ SL for ages)
the hull derby has FC having average top level form, with its best result being the CC final win.
KR have been in division one (ie NL1) for ages and only now are building into a decent SL side
when was the last time they played a really good derby game ? the CC final in the 80s
the Hull derby can only get better as the 2 clubs get stronger.
