| Following on from a thread a few weeks ago about sky viewing figures ang rugby league being second only to wendyball, has anyone noticed the ads for spring on sky sports don't even mention rugby league! Why?
Why would you not advertise your second highest viewing figure sport?  |

The OP is actually laying the foundations for another "the media hate us" thread.
Sky TV are part of the 2nd largest media organisation on ther planet and without their investment in TGG, rugby league would be an amateur local hobby. I trust their judgement as to what they put in their promotional adverts, rather than join in the massed northern chorus of "boo hoo it's not fair"
If push comes to shove, I'd guess that SKY don't see any benefit in pushing RL because it's reached its saturation level and got all the viewers they need for now. F1 on the other hand is new to SKY and therefore they will push that as a few petrol heads may be tempted to buy a dish....... |

Also, how come when you go on skybet the 9 automatic 'tiles' that come up (you'd assume they're the most common betting sports) are:
Football, Greyhounds & Racing- Obviously
Then...
Cricket, Golf and Yawnion- Fair enough maybe
Then...
Snooker, Darts and Tennis?
