I'm going either Oldham away first up. Or as we're due a a home game in round 1, Featherstone at home.

By that reckoning York is a good shout.

Certainly has the makings of a very competitive and entertaining league this year with no clear cut and obvious favourite as in previous years.

You have to play everyone twice, so I don't suppose it matters too much who is first.

One interesting factor generally will be the impact on attendances. Will the fact the league is a genuinely more open affair increase base attendances across all clubs?

With 13 teams, when we get our bye weeks could be important. Early in the season is a bit of a waste, you ideally want them half way through the season when injuries are biting.

London at home first up followed by Hunslet away.

How is London's squad looking after their relegation? Have they lost many players?

I think they're in single figures of players they've actually got signed up.

London are going to need a few games to get their squad up to speed. They are effectively starting from scratch with players.

Playing them at home first up **should** be a decent win, and surely we ought to be beating Hunslet with our squad.

Looks as decent a run as we could have asked, with the bye's placed well.....tough run in though....
