Well we usually struggle with slow starts after a long trip up to Cumbria but we need to bounce back in this one.

Barrow have a single win, ironically beating Halifax of all teams… we should have too much for them. We need to address the recently slip. Put things right on the pitch and put in a good shift.

Think we'll see a reaction. If we don't then I can't see Dunning surviving.

It's not so much this game I'm interested in our performance. It's the 4 That follow. No good battering Barrow and Swinton then losing to London at home

But with Roberts being here you know he’ll play. I think Jowitt does deserve to be there so maybe on the bench instead of Flanagan.

Hopefully the lads do the job. But hard considering your missing Holmes, Arundel, Blackmore, Lawrence, Thompson, Appo, Matongo etc

I’d be tempted to have Turgut on the bench because he played well by all accounts in the CC. So that’s one good performance more than say Johnson has had this season.

If it's Patton and Lilley at halfback again then I give up!

I'd like Lawford to have the shot, but I'd be amazed of Dunning goes with anything other than Patton/Lilley, as the halves Flanagan/Jowitt as interchange Hooker.

Think Dunnings future is sealed. Listening to radio, same old failed tactic of kick to Gill while Barrow intelligent grubbers killing us.

I know we have injuries but come on. Sounds like no attacking idea. Dunning completely out coached here. Terrible really.

I hear this group are an honest bunch, I’m sure they will wrap their arms around one another and have some honest conversations and one day be the best versions of themselves..

Be interesting to hear a view from somebody there, but it doesn’t appear to be an effort or performance from a side that is hurting and keen to play for their coach does it? I’m sure there will be some who will use the injuries as an excuse but there is enough quality in that side to give Barrow a game and get a result.

My view remains the same from the day MD was appointed, cheap option who I am afraid appears out of his depth at head coach level.

I can't get angry at Dunning you could see last season he was out of his depth. The fault is solely on the clubs toes running it on the cheap.

42 points conceded in that 2nd half… 42 points. What an absolute shambles.

I don't blame Dunning for applying for the job in the first place and been offered and taking it. Its the sole responsibility of the club like you say.

Absolutely, I don’t doubt he’s a guy who cares passionately about the club and is probably a good coach to have around at the right level. But he isn’t going to get the ‘best version of themselves’ from this group on a consistent basis.

I've never been a fan, that doesn't make me fickle, it makes me consistent.

I feel sorry for all the fans who spent there hard earned cash travelling all that way to witness a performance like that, must have been absolutely gutting.

Interesting, just listened to Mark Dunning speaking to Mick Gledhill on Soundcloud just after the Barrow debacle
Seems he's "spewing" about the performance. I don't reckon there'll be much in the way of "arms around each other" this week. It might just be that he's had enough after that 2nd half performance.
I really don't know how he can stay in the position after his outburst. The players are clearly not prepared to perform by the book for him, and he seems to be at the point of acceptance that something will need to change. Since he can't change the whole team, that only leaves a falling on the sword scenario for Mr. Dunning IMHO

This is the issue I highlighted when Dunning got the job he can be as upset as he wants but he doesn't have the reputation or experience to enforce this.
