| Following the huge win against Toulouse I wonder if we can repeat it vs Fev? Probably not given they're comfortably the best team in the league but we go into this one on a high for a change. This fixture has a bit of tastiness given the Flanagan snr/Bussey incident so I hope we can continue to keep our discipline.
Did we come through Saturday's game without any further injuries?

| Dunning said England hurt his thumb, not sure how serious, but id imagine with Thompson and possibly Butler to come in, I'd rest him if there's any tenderness there.
This will be a much bigger test than Toulouse. Fev are the best team IMO and Post Office Road is such a difficult place to go. But I hope Saturday's result makes as realise that they too are beatable.
I just want to see us make Fev work for the win. Don't think any side has made them work hard for the win this season yet. Even Fax had lost the game within the first 20 minutes.

| I hate to say it, but Tindall is significantly better than DFJ. I would like that loan to continue for a while. Thompson is due back. ?Foster to lose out. If England is injured then Butler to swap in, otherwise Dunning has a nice selection headache for a change. And I have to say the Lilley/Patten partnership is working, as is the Flanagan/Roby interchange.

| I was impressed with Tindall last time he played for us. He's bigger and quicker than DFJ and gets a quicker PTB.

| I see the Fev owner is moaning about shelling money out for the team and the crowds aren't coming and people drinking in local pubs and not in the ground.

| Nothing would please me more than to see Featherstone get promoted, spend next season getting towelled by the rest of SL, then back down to the champ with a bump in 2025. Preferably with this cretin Campbell losing a nice sum of money in the process.
Most classless club in rugby league.

Firstly. Where does he expect to get all these new supporters from in a place the size of Featherstone? Does he really think that supporters are going to quit Cas and Wakey and support Fev?
Secondly. If he wants people to drink in the ground instead of local pubs he should make his bar prices more realistic!
A pragmatist he ain't!

| Agreed about Tindal. DFJ has a good work ethic but doesn’t really bring much more than Tindal after that especially his yards after contact and when you’re battling in your own 20 I think that makes a difference. The side of Tindal AJ and Gill I thought was pretty good and would do well to keep that

| Hate to put a downer on this ahead of tonight, but can anyone really see us pulling off a win against Fev?
The win (and most importantly the attitude) against Toulouse was excellent to see after the last few years under Kear, but I couldn't see us winning that game had it not been for the meltdown and total lack of discipline during that second half.
I can't see the same happening to Fev and as a result don't see anything other than a comfortable win for the Rovers.

| So long as we make Fev work really hard for it I'm happy. Have they been properly tested yet? Every team wins some it doesn't expect to win and loses some it doesn't expect to lose. We have a better chance than last year that's for sure (could hardly be worse).

| Decent effort. Fevs quality showing. Not getting a lot from the ref. How Pickersgill (I think it was) wasn't sent to sin bin for a professional foul. Poor from Roby.

| Great effort that. Execution letting us down. Lost Thompson and Lawrence during the game as well. But they never gave up.

| Decent effort from the Bulls tonight. Felt the game swung in Fev’s favour when Roby was sent to the bin. Losing Thompson and Lawrence late on didn’t help either. Last years team would have rolled over and died but we stuck at it and defended well.
I’m hoping the injury to Lawrence isn’t a bad one.

| Whoops! Not directed at you, Bull Mania.
Your lads look like having a good season. Plenty of credit should be given to Dunning.

| Lacked a bit of direction and quality in attack but the effort was there in abundance so hard to be overly critical. Suspect Dunning and co will be disappointed we didn’t do better with some of our opportunities, with a bit more pressure applied I think they would have been there for the taking.
Just not quite good enough on the night. Plenty of positives to take away and improve on though.

| Thought there was opportunities to win that. Ref was shocking, I know we got one with Holmes offside but how Pickersgill wasn’t binned for a professional foul I’ll never know. Briscoe’s knock on from the kick (which they scored on their set) went unseen. If Roby got a yellow, how wasn’t theirs a yellow especially after he followed through with it??
Thought Patton and Holmes was poor with ball in hand today. Patton absolutely cacked himself when Leilua shot out of the line which is poor. Catch the ball take the hit. Patton unusually poor with kicks but he’s normally quality so chalk that as a one off.
Some shocking, dumb errors again today. Things like being caught offside at the scrum etc. Although holding the ball in the scrum is a crap rule anyway.
Scramble defence was class. Goal line defence was great as well. Some good tackles going in.
My only concerns with defence is that we allowed the offload numerous times with 3/4 men in the tackle. And the big one for me, is line speed. Every team we’ve played gets over the advantage line quite easy. Too many times we give up yards in sets.
We still look devoid of options in attack. Too slow to spread the ball and to predictable.
Thought the pack were great today. Really stood up to Fev. Rodgers, Thompson and Johnson were great today. Thought we missed Butler.
Why didn’t he put Appo on in the first half going downhill?
Roby was great when he was on the field! Flanagan needs to stop trying to be ‘Mr Big’. He never gets in their heads. Just focus on the game. Again, he does stupid stuff, then rips the ball on the 4th. I’d drop him and play Lilley there or start Roby.
Thought the effort was there today. Could see that in the scramble. 26-12 is respectable there. Proud of the effort but Fev could have been beat tonight and its a shame we couldn’t quite do it. Looking forward to them coming to Odsal!

| Always felt that Fev would come away with the win but again fair credit has to go to the team for the effort and determination put in. Last year that would have been 50pts plus. As it was it ended up being a great game between two decent sides. Long and Pryce seem to have a better connection to the squad than McDermott did so I think they will be a different beast by the end of the season.
Didn't go last night as I refuse to go back to POR due to the vile abuse the supposed Rovers fans dish out. Friends who went have said it was worse than ever... disgusting chants (which could be clearly heard on the radio), fans being challenged to fight by groups of flat cappers (classy to call out a dad with three kids under the age of 12 at his side) and reports of cars and coaches being stoned as they left.
Its all well and good the chairman calling out people for not attending games, but if he really wants crowds to increase, he needs to sort this awful behaviour as its surely going to put off both local families from attending, as well as a good number of away fans.
