| Looking at the SL table it is hard to find the team that I would most like to see relegated. It would be nice to see London stay up to stick two fingers up at all the SL snobs. After that we have Hudds, Wakey Leeds and HKR. First of all it should be noted that I do have all sort of chips on my shoulder.
Wakey because they beat us in the first million pound game.
Hudds for nicking all our players starting Krapcek.
HKR. Don't really have a beef with them and at least they aren't Hull.
Leeds - do we need another reason.

| There’s 2 criteria for me.
1 - which clubs would have to do a bit of “cloth cutting” if relegated, which would give us a better chance of competing with them next year. My assumptions would be London, Wakey and/or HKR. Due to a lack of multi millionaire owners.
2 - Karma (for perceived injustices) or funniest - Everyone except London....

| Much as it grieves me to say this, I think SL needs Leeds. We have few enough big city glamour clubs as it is.
Wakefield and Hull KR would be hilarious - the sense of entitlement from Neil Hudgell and Michael Carter about why they should be sitting at the top table is palpable.
In the event, I still think it will be London, sadly...

I know it's fanciful but a Leeds relegation would work out well for the Championship especially if Toronto do not get promoted. There is an argument that if London or Leeds were to be relegated and Toronto got promoted the Canadians would have trouble selling the league. At the moment the moment they are pushing their reason d'etre is to get to the top division. Once there how do they sell it? 'This week we are playing St Helens'. "oh, where's that?". 'It's a town outside Liverpool'. "Oh I've heard of them. So we're playing Liverpool". 'No. A town near Liverpool'.

| Hull KR, Only because how much of a set of vultures they've been recently. Other than that I quite like them.
Huddersfield - What do they bring to the party?

| I'd take equal amounts of glee from any of Hull KR, Wakefield or Huddersfield being relegated, but sadly think it will be the Broncos.

| Hudds getting relegated would he a disaster. Might be a few laughs on here but Ken Davy would dig deeper into his pockets and they'll walk the championship.
Leeds - if they were to be relegated it wouldn't surprise me to see SL step in and make it a 13/14 team comp. They can't afford their biggest club not being there.
Hull KR - to be a fly in the room if Hudgell & Chalmers met in a Championship chairman board meeting. Not sure if they would walk it like they did last time as I don't think they'd be able to throw the money at it again.
Wakey - they look in all sorts of bother. One of their fans put
On their board that apart from Hudds, they haven't beaten an SL team since April. With 5 of their remaking 7 games against top 5, plus KR away, not sure where their next win is coming from. If they were to be relegated I think they'll end up another Fax. They don't have a chairman to pump money in, plus they have a huge loan to pay off for the stadium. That said I think they'll survive as I can't see London winning 3 more games than them.
London will be bravely relegated sadly.

| In a way, the more interesting question is who will get relegated next year if Toronto go up.
I think it's obvious that Toronto will throw a ton of money on getting together a team that will comfortably stay in SL. So there won't be a brave-but-ultimately-loser team at the bottom next year like London.
...which means that suddenly the likes of Wakefield and Hull KR will be sweating a bit

Agree - I've said this to every Rhinos fan I've met this year. The game can't afford for it's most recognized teams to be not competing in the top competition.

| I fear the relegated team this year maybe the last - once Toronto go up, they'll pull up the ladder, and whoever's is in will stay in for the return to licensing for 2021!

| Ill say it then, they said SL need the bulls!!! so if Leeds go down tough to SL, however i think it will be London.
If SL do pull up the ladder then the Championship should find a better sponsor than Sky as most of the money will go to SL anyway and we get little or no coverage.

| I’d like to see Hull KR relegated purely so Ethan Ryan’s contract becomes null and void, hopefully then we might keep him!
I’d love Wakey or Huddersfield to come down. It would be karma indeed.
I don’t have the hatred for Leeds anymore like I used to. They helped us out massively when we were struggling and sent so many players to is on loan even though they could have quite easily sent them to their dual reg club. And to see them go down would be a disaster for RL.
I’ll be gutted if London come down. Especially after being loyal to the lads that got them promoted. I’d like to see them build.

So some Teams are more favoured than others which is wrong, unfortunately I think it will be London making the drop

And everyone said the same about us... too many fans, the biggest huge draw in SL at the time....all the same stuff they are saying now.
I don't want Leeds down. I'd imagine their spending power would far outstrip the rest of the championship so 2020 would be another holding pattern for the rest of the clubs...

| Because of the gobby bell ends that run Wankfield and Hull KR I am going to laugh my head off when one of them is relegated it will serve them right completely.
However, it won’t be this year unfortunately. With Toronto going up this time one of them are toast next season without a doubt. Probably Wakefield.
Just in time for them to be on the receiving end of the cuts in funding as a result of the vote those two shysters were so keen to push through. Karma for their appalling behaviour. Plus both clubs have fans that were quite quick to fling sh173 at us.

| I can't get my head around David Hughes' approach to this season. How many millions has he put into the Broncos over the last 15-20 years? And then when they finally get their chance back in the top flight, he tightens the purse strings and leaves them with no money to strengthen the squad? I just don't get it.
If I was a Broncos fan I'd be furious because there are three or four SL teams doing their best to drop out of the top flight this season and yet London are more than likely going to save their blushes because of their lack of activity in the transfer market.

Hatred is a strong word and I guess you've got your reasons for disliking the Leeds Rhinos (As have all Bradford Northern/Bulls fans)
I went to St Blaise and then Cardinal Hinsley GS despite living outside of Bradford and I was also the only Leeds RL supporter in both schools,You can guess the abuse I got whilst at school when Northern beat Leeds
I then worked at a printers in Bradford at a time when Leeds regularly got beat by Northern and then the Bulls,So I pretty much had to eat humble pie for the duration of both my High school education years and then 8 years of employment until I changed jobs in 1998 (So pretty much 13 or 14 years of torture )
The rivalry between Bradford and Leeds during those years was bloody great though and I never missed a game between these 2 sides until you got relegated in 2014 from SL,During these golden years we had fantastic crowds which regularly topped 20,000 at both grounds
Fans in both Leeds and Bradford want these games back on despite our rivalries over the years and IMO SL is far worse off without a strong Bradford Bulls in the competition.
I thought that I also hated the Bradford Northern/Bulls during those years, but I have realised since the clubs relegation from SL that it was nothing more than a very strong admiration and respect of such a great club that I had against you guys and that I just wanted to win at all costs every time we played
I'd guess that the majority of Bradford fans would also agree that we didn't actually hate each other but that we were both very good rivals which brought the best out of both clubs
I would love you back in SL and start to hate you again though

| I'm afraid the cult of Sir Kev may be the undoing of what has been the most incredibly well run club I can think of.
Firstly the lack of succession planning for the staged retirements of peacock, sinfield, burrow etc was odd. Then to trust Sinfield to oversee the recruitment of coaches despite no record of having any skills in that department was also odd. A great player does not automatically equal a great at anything else.
I was raised in Leeds and started to watch us when we were awful in about 92. Going to school in Leeds was therefore rubbish on a Monday morning. But I don't hate them and never have really. Anyone who loves the game couldn't genuinely think having Leeds outside the top flight would be good.

| Well I like to think I take a wider view rather than a parochial one. If anyone can explain to me why having a top flight minus Leeds is actually positive for the sport I'd be interested. If it's just because you grew up with Leeds as our main rivals then meh.

| The only positive would be the exposure the Championship would get for a year or two. Though I have thought many times that if Toronto failed to gain promotion surely a Championship made up of
Bradford
Leeds
Toronto
London
Toulouse
Halifax
Leigh
York
As a core with the possibility of Newcastle joining, taking perhaps a year or four to get traction, would be better for the sport if it's ever to lose the flat caps and whippets image and become a metropolitan, nationwide sport and so be more palatable to the aspirational types who would rather be seen in Tesco than associate with the "grimy pit and mill game the northerners play....."
Call it the Rugby League Premiership as the Super League seems to have lost the name of the game from their world.
