| After a good narrow win against Fev the next task for the Bulls is Swinton Lions.
I’d personally go with the same team as the Featherstone game except I’d have Magrin in the team barring injury and Storton in for Hallas.
Pickersgill
Hitchcox
Webster
Evans
Ryan
Lilley
Chisholm
Kirk
Wildie
Crossley
Minchella
Farrell
Wood
Flanagan
Green
Magrin
Storton
This game is important in my eyes. On paler we should win this but as we know Swinton will be a tough test.

| Hopefully they don't look at Swinton's result from last week and grow complacent.
Still hoping we can get Keyes back fit asap but if not then Lilley can continue his partnership with Dane.
No need to make sweeping changes to the 19, but I'd like us to go with 4 props if possible, with Hallas making way.

| Rest Minchella? Only had one game. Could understand that later in the year. Storton in for Hallas and Magrin in for Oakes for me to shore up the pack. If Webster is carrying a knock then Oakes to centre. Need a good pack though to beat Swinton up front.

| Should be a big win based on their squad and performance last week, although how much of that was from minds not being on the game 100% following their teammates nasty injury could be debated.
I'd stick with the same 19 apart from bringing back Storton. Think we missed him on Sunday. Only problem is who do you drop. I'm personally not a big fan of Hallas but Sunday he had a great game so not sure really how you drop him based on form.
If fit Magrin has to go in the 17. It worked out in the end but playing only three out and out props (Wood played as the forth) does not work for me, especially when we don't have the biggest set of back rowers to ease the load.

I wouldn't necessarily disagree, and certainly not about the props, though I though Hallas had a good game on Sunday.

| I don't think Hallas can be dropped based on his defensive effort against Fev. I watched it last night and he was like a limpet to every drive that came at him for (I think) 65 minutes. He is a big minute tackler and really really valuable to a team to get the dirty work done in the middle. His carries weren't shabby either. If Storton comes in then it has to be for Oakes. I thought Oakes inclusion was odd, despite the fact he was needed in the end.
Any news on the Webster head injury? He looked class in defence. He rushed out to defend in the middle early in Fev's tackle count and put some monster hits in, especially in the first half. I wonder if this was a ploy to share the defensive workload. His drives from deep made lots of metres too and never ended up on his backside.
I can't see the team changing too much for Swinton - why fix something that isn't broken?

| I've a feeling we'll be unchanged. Nobody deserves dropping really. I'm sure Kear said post match that Webster passed his head test but Oakes was playing so well he didn't need to bring him back on.

| Yeah I wouldn't change much (maybe bring in Magrin or Storton to beef things up) as others have said, Hallas was superb last week. I wouldn't have had him in the 17 but he proved me wrong and drserves to keep his place.
I don't think we'll be complacent. But what has done us in the past is being old-manned by them. Think there has been at least 2 yellows every time we've played Swinton with a couple of reds for us falling for their tactics (and weak Refereeing for failing to get a grip early on) Concentrate on ourselves, don't get drawn in and we'll be far too strong for them.
It will be fiery early on though but we just have to weather the storm and we'll pull away.

Why would the Vice captain be rested after 1 game
And what have JY or Ryan done to justify dropping them for DFJ?
Please help me out?

Since you were last in this division, they have parted company with Josh Barlow, but have acquired a fiery little half back called Rob Fairclough who seems to have taken over as chief wind-up artist on their team

| I wouldn't even begin to suggest which players JK should select - I trust him to pick the best team available and it's nice to have the option of different players to choose from.
Based on last season's league position and last week's result this should be one of our easier fixtures but looking at all the teams we have to face this season I don't think there'll be any easy games and a mid table finish will be a very positive outcome to the season to build on for the future.

| Krasniqi is decent so should give us a bit of needed cover. I’m not sure what Jon Magrin will make of it. As far as I know he’s fit and available for selection but can’t get in the team.

| 7 props in the squad. 3 with longish term injuries.
Wood is more of a backrow/loose forward as is Hallas. Keelan Foster isn't quite ready yet IMO.
Losing three is a blow and were we to lose another we'd be in a situation with no competition for places. I've no problem with loans being used to cover.

Happy to help
So, point one:
'I'd like to see Foggin-Johnston get a chance.'
This means: I would like to see foggin Johnston get a chance.
It doesn't mean I think our two starting wingers have done anything to get dropped, nor does it mean I think he's better than either of them. But I do think he looked good in preseason, and would like to see him in a competitive match. Unfortunately for him, his chances of getting into the team are slim barring injuries. Maybe playing him in one of the few fixtures where we don't need to put out our strongest team could be an opportunity to give him a run out, and not risk one of our star players. Or maybe not. Either way, I would like to see him get a chance. I don't think this is too hard a concept to follow
Point two:
'Also, I'd maybe rest minchella and put in storton or garside.'
Apologies, 'rest' may have been the wrong word to use, as I think you have taken it too literally. I'm sure he doesn't need a rest. But again, as this is one of our less testing fixtures, maybe we could not play him this week and try out storton or garside. The non-minchella second row spot seems to be the one with the strongest competition
Note the use of the word 'maybe' which implies uncertainty
Point three:
'Same goes for Webster, bring in oakes.'
Similar to point two, but with the added factor of his age. Being 35, he's going to be more susceptible to injury, so maybe we don't need to play him in every single game
I don't see any of these points being particularly outlandish or baiting, so sorry that these thoughts upset you so much
Hope this helps xx

1 game in to theseason and youre already picking and choosing which are the easy games and which ones we can afford to leave players out.
I hope for everyones sake JK and the players dont have this sort of attitude or we might find our selves on the wrong side of the score board.
We cant afford to take anyone lightly and we should field the strongest team available each week for me. Especially given its week 2 of the season!!
