It’ll be interesting to see the squad for this one given we’ll be without Laithwaite, Gibson and Keyes for sure and both Bustin and McNally seemed to limp off on Sunday.

don't think we can afford to experiment too much. We need to put out strongest team each week and 'hammer' as many teams as possible as points difference is all important now and York will be looking to do the same.

8 games left and 92 points York need to make up. That means they have to make up 11.5 points each week.

We simply have to go out and be ruthless in every match, play our best players in each and make sure we outscore York from the word go.
If that means playing some of the guys from this weeks game who want to go out and prove a point/make up for the defeat then so be it.

Every week we outscore them the total they then have to outscore us by increases and it gets harder and harder for them to catch us.

This week we have Skolars and they have Coventry, 11th and 12th in the League.

The Points Difference can change so quickly in this division when you have utter and total wastes of a league place like West Wales and Hemel, who should be playing at a lower level until they can at least slightly compete.

The good thing for Bulls is we have West Wales Oldham Hemel last 3 games,Oldham is tough but chance to pull points back if York go unbeaten.

York have yet to visit Workington, not an easy afternoon for anyone........as we know.

York haven't won in Cumbria since 1842 or something like that. Oldham on a good day are are a dangerous team, on a bad day they are poor. For York I think it all hinges on finally winning in Cumbria and making sure there are no slip ups against Oldham while posting a cricket score against some of the lower teams. I'm fairly confident against Hunslet and Whitehaven at home.

For Bradford, again the Oldham match is the difficult one. I think Keighley have lost too many players to challenge you at Odsal, even if they'll be fired up.

If I was a betting man I'd say Bradford to finish top and York to go up through the playoffs.

Anyone heard if York are planning to stream the game?

Every game is a Grand Final now until the end of the season. Playing the 2 worst teams in the League during our final 3 games is very helpful if the points difference is very close. We were very poor against the Skolars last time out and still scored 54 points. Hopefully we can open up a greater point difference this weekend.

And yet York only beat them by 2 points a couple of weeks ago?

They didn't use their DR players, as I understand it. If they were learning any lessons from that game it would seem to have borne fruit in the following one.....

Errm, no - The lessons being that the KR players were better than the ones York substituted for them against London - thus explaining why they only beat them by the same two points as in our game.

By ours, I meant from a York POV. So yes, the lesson being that KR's players are better than York's. I didn't mean better than Bradford's, although to be fair, I think they probably are.

You have got to feel a little bit sorry for those York players who played against London, and then were preparing for probably the biggest game of their career to date the following week, just to be told they were dropped as some KR players who were coming in on loan, for one game (apparently).

Well they will get a game this week now the KR players have been moved on to Leigh.

Scored some good tries (Chisholms was a cracker) but far too many schoolboy errors again. 2 hospital passes to Ethan in our own 30. So frustrating at times. Its a small pitch, we can kill them with off-loads.

Also with Hallas last week proving to anyone who had any doubt that he's not a hooker, Halafihi having a dodgy start today, i really question the decision to let Butterworth go.
