To be fair to Sky with only 2 Super League games this week they had no choice but to show this game.

I think the Giants have also twigged it's going to be like a morgue. £2 into one of the stands!

They're actually letting people in for £2. That's how few people they're expecting and are desperate to try and get people through the gates. On a Thursday night (notoriously bad for crowds) with two of the worst supported teams in the competition, with the game on Sky. It's not really that shocking they're trying anything they can to get some people in. I'd still be amazed if it hits 5,000 though.

Who do swinton DR with? With only 2 SL games is there going to be a bigger than normal invasion of SL players looking for a game?

Why? Both Leeds & Leigh are playing this week (against each other tomorrow night) and they're only allowed a maximum of 4 Dual Reg players anyway.

In all serious though this is not good. The second week of the Super League season, also in the middle of Unions six nations with obviously large crowds and we could be watching a game that might sound like it's been played in a park

As admission price was reduced to £2( 20% of normal price?), courtesy of Mr Davy's deep pockets, surely the attendance figure should be adjusted by RFL to around 1200 or so to reflect what might have been the case had full price been charged.This would be in line with Nigels normal train of thought surely.

Marwan must have been annoyed. Hudds knock it down to £2 entry and they get 6,000. Whilst not a great figure, it's good for them (especially on a Thursday). Marwan lets people in for free and they still get no frigger turning up.
