So we've signed a new back rower for a month - thoughts? My initial thought was that we have enough back rowers already.

Something I realised at the weekend is that my current highest hope for this season is that we have someone turn out with the number 50 on his back.

So whilst we do need some direct runners and this will be a help with that, this is actually a big step forward towards a larger goal.

It's in the member's email that came out today. If you have a season ticket you should have a copy. (I don't, cos I'm not a member, but I have seen screenshots on FB).

I think ally of what Rohan is doing is ahead of next year tbh. We could potentially lose Olbison, Ferguson and Addy at the end of the year so assessing options isn't a bad thing.

Anyway Philbin is actually pretty good from what I've seen of him playing for Wire.

Mellor & Olbison have hardly been setting the world on fire lately. Ferguson and Addy were injured for the last match. Haggerty was having to play in the halves.

When you consider all that, it doesn't make signing a second rower on a month's loan quite as crazy as everyone's first reaction of "not another second rower!"
