Can't make it tomorrow but I do have a large bag of confetti if someone could take it for me.

If we are not careful today the Halifax scrum half Moore will destroy us on attack. Apparently he is ripping it up and creating space and scoring himself. They signed him from Fev for this season and it has really paid off for them. Where were our scouts when he became available?

we have not been firing on all cylinders yet so hopefully we can today. The team has been swapped around every game which has had an effect but we could have and should have won the games we have lost this season, but we are just not finishing teams off and are allowing them a way back into the games with poor discipline and some dumb plays. Moore has been outstanding and is our main threat at the moment and murrell now back playing well so fingers crossed we click today as we need to stay in touch with the teams above

Not that simple unfortunately. I suspect Gareth has another job/business that he can maintain while he plays for a part time side. Joining a full time club would most likely see him worse off financially than if he stayed part time.
This is the problem Sheffield had when they became full time - many players left as a result.

Mitch Clark tries to offload when it's not on. Loses the ball. Later in the set Uaisele shoots out of the line, in no mans land and Halifax score.

G.Moore loose carry. Clare picks up with an open field with Caro in support. Bulls brought back for the scrum :/

Bulls penalty for ball rip. Gaskell puts an up and under kick, Campbell catches well and scores......but touch judge says Eccleston wrapped Campbell's legs and it hit touch before Campbell puts ball down. Don't know about that decision like :/

Oh dear. Not good.

After that result I think we need to accept that we're now just a good Championship club.

Defence remains porous, still allowing high balls to bounce, creative players are either running out of ideas or being battered out of the game.

Do we not learn?

Form been poor last 4 weeks. Now reads 1 win, 2 draws, 2 losses. We've gone backwards since the first few games.

I knew we'd miss Sidlow but this is taking the p*ss now.

Couldn't be much worse if WE were part time.The Ferres regime is failing us big time and Marc has got to take tough action.Sadly,we will probably soldier on, hoping to scrape into the top 4 and only then strengthen for the middle 8 push.Not good for spectators though this being dished up.The writing's long been on the wall,but when will someone read it and do what is required.

Judging by the BCB commentary, it sounded like we wouldn't have won anyway.

Painful and embarrassing to watch that! Think the only move we practice is the crash ball.

Fax were considerably better than us today in every single department, but were hardly spectacular and that says a lot about how bad we were. Chance after chance at their end of the pitch wasted, the game handed to us on a plate at the end and again wasted (would have been perhaps our most undeserved win ever had we gone over and converted). Halifax completely out enthused us - which makes pretty much every team both this season and last - are there any games this squad looks up for? No matter what guff comes out in the press, team spirit looks really low. We seem to have no appetite, desire, or - crucially - killer instinct. A scrum half can't fix all of these.

I've absolutely hated the "unbeaten in the league" tag we've had recently, the reality is after today we have played 8 in all comps and won only 4 and not been impressive in many of those 4. Sunday now a huge game against Sheffield - if it remains 4 wins from 9 after that I don't know how the club can justify keeping Lowes in charge.
