| Just read the above survey - Taken from 644 responses, no one wanted Thursday night Games , Re the structure of the 3 x 8's - 36% for- 31% undecided -10% against. Have any of the chamionship clubs fans even seen this survey? Is it representative of the Clubs in the middle eights, as it should be. It could be a survey that is based on 'I'm alright Jack' it doesn't seem to include those it effects, as the same people who voted against Thursday night games are obviously SL sides as it only effects them. Perhaps we should have a survey after the season to find out just exactly what fans thought - not just a few.

| Don't worry the RFL won't take a blind bit of notice as they are more interested on holidaying in Benidorm

| People often wear 'different hats' on these things. As a Sky viewer, I enjoy and look forward to the Thursday and Friday SL games. Especially, since we are no longer in SL, not only can I see them [ievery[/i week without fail - [iwe[/i aren't involved and therefore not inconvenienced by mid-week, away games. Oh, how I miss those Friday night games in Lancashire; no time to wash, change, or have any tea, fighting the M62 'car park' all the way there only to find it closed for roadworks on the way back...

Hi guys
I ran the survey. In answer to your questions, I posted the link to the survey on social media and have done so for a few weeks. I've also posted it on most SL forums on here and also the VT for anyone that goes on there.
I didn't put it on every board as didn't want to spam, and admittedly, the focus was towards SL fans as these are the most likely to be affected by this. Naturally, Championship sides are dependent on them getting promoted into SL, which proof will be in the pudding in the next few weeks. The results were pushed out last week in order to get attention ahead of the Super 8s (where most games are Thurs/Fri).
The rationale behind the survey is that the RFL/Super League sent out an email with a survey a few weeks back without any negative options towards Thurs games. This irked me, as I felt it should give the option for fans to say they don't like them. There is naturally going to be fans who like Thurs rugby for TV but when it comes to their own games, they dislike them as can't attend/don't like Thurs night games etc.
If you don't feel like you've had a fair say in this, I've reopened the survey and you can add your say to the results here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1lQL0Hx ... 4/viewform
Please feel free to pass this on, as the more people that respond, the better it will be. If you have any questions about it, please feel free to ask.
Thanks,
Fully

| As a traditionalist, I would like to revert to Sunday (In the main) games for lots of reasons i.e. Sunday is good for recreational purposes. Admitting perhaps that not all but most have that day free. So the analysis is short in that players and clubs have no opportunity for consultation. The RFL and Sky I would guess have the data to understand the performance outlook and achievable viewing figures. I would think that Sky is about that and selling their product as it is to do with attendance figures at the ground.
The RFL with their decision making has probably been given and persuaded to take an offer they feel they could not refuse.
Worth a mention that in the states, customers are in control of what they purchase and when and their demands are met by the supplier of a product. However we here just behave in a robotic sense and rather chose gullibility taking what is on offer without a real questions or voting with there feet.
