| Is the new owner of Bradford Park Avenue. This is the guy who is supposed to be worth a few billion pounds through his business in the oil industry in texas.
He was part of the BPA bid when the bulls were in admin.
There might be some interest as far as we are concerned with possibly a ground share deal on the horizon as i guess the aim will be to move Avenue further up the football league ladder?

| Being only a mere "part of" a BPA offer which was rejected as even less than others were offering just doesn't seem to me to sit very well with multi billionaire status. If he really is a billionaire and really was interested in the Bulls then he could have bought the whole job lot from the administrator for what would to a billionaire be something like a few hours-worth of interest on his fortune. Just as a for instance, interest on £5 billion at 5% = £250 million p.a.

| Thank the lord. I was beginning to think we would go through an off season without any of this nonsense.

| Given two administrations and no offers at all I think we can accurately gauge the level of interest.

| Rumours about new ground sites for BPA at Wyke Manor and Sedburgh, creating a community stadium to be used on a daily basis by the community and improving the existing facilities..
With a possible temporary ground share at Odsal in the interim, but it has been suggested that major work to the crumbling terracing would have to be carried out to take the hoards of football fans{tongue in cheek at Avenue's small fan base}but football legislation takes potential crowds as the standard, eg football conference capacity of 5000

| Most of the barriers on the terracing were stress tested and improvements made last season within weeks of Green taking over. I wouldn't have thought much work needed doing.

| If Avenue were to use Odsal I can't imagine them [as they are ever filling the stand, let alone needing to use the terraces. Odsal has a licence for over 26k, for heaven's sake.

| Good point. I don't think they'll be troubling the Champions League anytime soon.

But, with a "multi-billionaire" at the helm, they SHOULD be. I couldn't for example imagine Abramovich settling for Bradfordski Park Avenuyov in the Conference for too long.

| Well no, I guess he wouldn't settle for that, but we're only talking about the short interim period.
They currently reside in the Bond it league [? and would need another year in there before their inevitable rise to the heights of the conference - so that's two season gone before they hit division four - how long does it take a multiple billionaire to get a ground built these days?
[size=50Not that we'd know - Lol[/size

| Is this the same 'multi billionaire' that offered the lowest bid for the Bulls?
The phrase "I'll believe it when I see it' comes to mind when thinking that Avenue will have an all-singing all-dancing new ground built anytime soon...

| Think there has been a calendar mix up - it is the 1st January not the 1st April
There used to be a reasonable ground at what was it called - Park Avenue?

| Seems the deal has finally gone ahead and he now owns Avenue, according to Radio Leeds - we await the out come with interest.
