| Says significant so sounds promising. Does sound like the board are working really hard to get this club back on its feet

Looks like a 3 year tie to Carlsberg products in return for a discount.

Oy stop trying to provoke FA when hes in an Anton Ego Au Recherche du Ratatouille Temps Perdu moment. I know just what he means. The foam gushing over the top of the glass, the six inch deep slops trough beneath the pumps waiting to go into the mild barrel, the three pneumatic bee-hived barmaids pulling away (at the pump Pumpety pump), the smell of it...Tetleys at The Ring of Bells, Shipley, 60's and 70's.

| This should solve those infamous Odsal plumbing problems by connecting the urinals directly to the pumps.

| That sounds a bit like the eighties beer festivals where the toilet doors had "John Smiths" on them...

Oh, come on, you know as well as I do that, when using an 'autovac' the "six inch deep slops" went straight back into the bitter..it was only residue after that, along with whatever was left in the pipes, which went to 'bull up' the mild.
Cheers!!

| I was mainly thinking of the Regent in Chapeltown, Leeds. Tetley's there was almost always like nectar of the gods. I can taste it now. Tetley's hand pulled was once potentially a really excellent pint, though you had to know where to go.
At the first club I ever joined, the pints would be pulled about 2 pints to 1 glass, the rest overspilled over the glass, barstaff hands, whatever, and back into the barrel. This was before anyone ever got a new glass so the added benefit was that you also got whatever washed off everyone else's glasses including the guys who never washed their hands.
There was no known case in the world of it ever doing anybody any harm, though!

To be right, the Autovac was just the system which returned the overspill to the cask, if it took a week to get the head right, I suspect the problem was with the 'sparkler' being too tight....or the barmaid..
