I'd like to see the "root and branch review" bring him in in a consultancy role if possible. I'm sure he could give his opinion on what could be improved. I'd also be interested in his opinions when it comes to recruitment for next season. As someone mentioned on another thread, he knows the Championship well from being part of the Premier Sports commentary team last year.

He isn't needed for off-field thinking as Green has brought Ferres in for that. I do see Ferres as the main man up at Odsal after Green. What Ferres says to Green will probably be what happens regarding the playing rugby side of the business.

Well, between Steve and Robbie we shouldn't be short of rugby knowledge around the higher echelons of the club, though I'm far from sure they have any actual coaching experience at any sort of high level.
