You can hardly blame anyone for trying to get Keith, he's as good as anything in SL. Tremendous credit to Lulia for rejecting the approach, it is just another example of the team spirit that has been built up at the club. I'm made up, as he is one of our top key players and as this sends out a great and positive message.

Spot on FA. It would have been a bad move on many levels to have agreed that one, not least when we need to sell tickets for the coming season. It's a statement of intent from the club which deserves a good response from fans, particularly any who are still wondering whether to buy a season ticket.

Glad he is staying.

Reading the comments from Duffy it was actually the club that rejected the offer. They just informed lulia that the offer had been made. That said it sounds from Keith's twitter comments that he's quite happy to stay anyway. Really think the team spirit forged by the problems last year could make us a bit if surprise package next year.

Keith would be on a bigger wage at bulls than rhinos could offer so no wonder he wanted to stay put. It's all about ££££££ to these Aussies

It was the club that rejected the offer. There's still a year left on Keith's contract so he never had the option of leaving if club didn't sanction it. Test of his loyalty will come next year when he's up for renewal. There's nothing to suggest he wants to leave but we won't know for sure until he commits to a new deal.

On the subject of renewal I hope he does renew. I knew when we signed him what a class player we were signing. He hasn't disappointed.

Would expect lulia will be pretty much first priority when we start talking renewals with players OOC next year. Shouldn't be anything like as big a turnover player wise next year.

Interesting that they went for Moon, then Lulia. Would have thought Lulia is a better player than Moon.

Buderus, Ali and senior all recently gone and not replaced like for like. Pretty sure we have plenty of cap space, something that WE have always adhered to!

Fantastic news he's staying. He really will have to be a priority signing next year as i'm sure the top teams will be offering him some top wages.
