If Mick can't grow a pair of balls to do his own posting here, then I ask you why you are doing this for him?

micks perfectly capable of posting on here. His problem is he has no self control and ends up posting stuff that shouldnt be in public domain and he ends up in a conflict of interest situation. He's going to be setting up a new username to post official announcements in future.

If you've got an issue with it PM him. he isnt posting but he's still got his rlfans account and still reads boards.

To be honest, there were only a few relatively generic questions after the break, so you didn't really miss much.

Overall, it was more of a public relations exercise than a forum where anything specific was 'revealed'. But that was fine, because its very early days for the new regime, and many answers were along the lines of 'we are in discussions about that'

One thing that we did find out more about was the structure of new club. Omar is 100% owner, with Gerry as co-Chair and Omar's brother (I think they said he is called Abdul) as Vice-Chair. There were two other members of the top management tier present - one guy called Ryan (NOT Ryan Duckett if anyone wonders) who seemed to have more to do with the financial side, and another guy whose name I've forgotten who is focussed on the marketing of the stadium and facilities. There won't be a CEO, the management team will be working as a team.

Then beneath this tier there is the rugby side of things with Stuart Duffy, Francis Cummins etc. It was made clear that the management team will be 'hands off' on the actual rugby side. Cummins will have the whole salary cap to spend, and its up to him how he spends it.

If Speedway returns it is presumably only a matter of time before Stock Cars return - which personally interests me much more than Speedway...

Well, both me and the Mrs got a real positive feeling at the fans forum tonight. As OK said, things have been at rock bottom, the only way is up. Really looking forward to next season now. Thought FC came across really well also.

They're crying out for a 2nd Speedway GP venue to compliment Cardiff. Ok Odsal isn't Millenium Stadium but I expect it is on a par with some of the smaller GP venues in Poland/Sweden etc.

The way I heard it was that there is an intent to spend up to the salary cap but it needs the supporters and local businesses to acheive this.

As an aside, when buying my tickets office staff said that some players were helping out with the ticket sales during the day and specifically mentioned Nick Scrutton and Elliot W. I have to say this certainly sends a positive message of the players commitment to the cause.

Are they expecting FC to do the coaching and also be responsible for recruitment? Seems to be asking a lot from a new head coach with not many assistants.

Really concerned about this. I'm warming to Cummins as Head Coach but to simply give him the budget and say get on with it feels precipitous. Medley is an old head and I know he's related to Diskin who comes across as a very sensible bloke but still.

There is to much negativty about money, who will be doing what and when, the Club has shown it will cope with the ongoing adversity and so will most of the Fans, so will folk on here stop gripping and get on with some positive attitudes

In discussions with OK and his team, they made it clear that there will be no abdication of authority or responsibility. They will retain ultimate responsibility for the final decisions, especially financial. the point I think they were trying to get across is that they will not seek to meddle in areas outside of their core competances, and be fully-guided by what the professionals advise. But, from speaking with these guys, they look to be a pretty clued-up group, all with significant input and, most importantly, all trusting each other (new concept for Bulls hierarchy!) and unlikely to put up with any nonsense. And I an sure Franny will have no easy ride! The comparision with the seriously under-resourced and stress-ridden structure of recent times, and of an operation dominated by one individual, could not be more pronounced, or encouraging, in my (early) opinion.

Thought all speakers came across well, with honesty and integrity and came away feeling very positive for the future.. COYB

I asked Sutcliffe separately afterwards how many season tickets he'd budgeted for, his answer was 7,500.

Hopefully Ross at the T&A can keep the fans updated nicely how the numbers are going.

They won't get 7,500 season tickets. Can tell you that for nothing.

Hope that isn't the be all and end all of income streams otherwise we're in trouble. It's clear they have ideas to utilise Odsal more, but that will take time.

I also think 7500 is being very optimistic. How many were we selling before the cheap deals? Wasnt it around 4000? I imagine it will be more like that number now the prices have gone back up.
