| Some technical difficulty in posting to the BullBuilder website. However, in the mean time, here is the gist of the proposal:
=#0040FFIn all the uncertainty currently surrounding Odsal, the overriding hope is simply that the Bulls will survive. BullBuilder remains wholly supportive of the current efforts to ensure that this happens.
However, in the mean time, BullBuilder is particularly concerned about two groups. Firstly, there are the Bulls’ staff, who have been made redundant and have subsequently shown their dedication to the cause by returning to work for free to ensure that the London match went ahead. Secondly, there are the young players at the Bulls, who appear to have been somewhat neglected in the midst of the financial turmoil.
BullBuilder’s main brief has always been to support young players at the Bulls. Therefore, we propose to dedicate our existing funds and any future funds from members’ subscriptions, along with our very best efforts, to ensuring that these youngsters are looked after. To this end, we are keeping in touch with the remaining coaching staff to identify any help to which we can put our funds.
However, we are also concerned about the hardship experienced by the dedicated coaching and back-office staff whose posts were recently made redundant. In some cases, this has left families who were entirely committed to the Bulls’ cause not only without earned income, but also without the ability to claim benefits.
We appreciate that there are many calls on members’ funds at the moment, including some rugby-related requests. However, under the circumstances, we would like to establish a hardship fund to give assistance to any ex-member of staff who needs it. If any BullBuilder member or supporter would like to make a separate contribution to this fund, we guarantee that it will be ring-fenced for the specific purpose of helping these individuals, and will be returned to the contributor if not used in this way.
If you wish to contribute to this fund, please make this clear when sending your contribution. Alternatively, if you wish to contribute in general to BullBuilder, we will continue to target our main efforts at supporting the Bulls’ young players.
In either case, please be assured that we continue to do our very best to reflect Bradford Bulls’ supporters’ appreciation of the value of the young players at Odsal and the commitment and dedication of the wonderful staff.

| This is an excellent idea and fully worthy of our support. I was only saying at the match yesterday that I was going to suggest to Bullbuilder something along these lines.
I was asked if I had paid in or used my season ticket. I used my season ticket as I did not know where my gate money would have gone. If I could be guaranteed that my money went purely to wages/hardship (not an adminstrators wages though) then I would gladly pay in to all home matches.
As you can give me this assurance I too am happy to pay my gate money into the fund along with a little extra.
Can someone let me know how I can do this and would you want the money for all home matches up front in one payment or prefer it as a steady income and sent match by match.
Can you also let me know the preferred payment method that minimises any bank/handling etc charges so the maximum amount reaches the fund, and do I have to state alongside the payment that it is a donation to avoid any tax liabilities for Bull Builder?
Well done for taking this on as I appreciate this will cause extra work for some of you.

| A friend gave me £20 to put "towards the club" yesterday. I didn't know what to do with it, but this seems perfect.

Sorry if any of the below has already been thought of, just thinking out loud.
Might be an idea to tweet that link (if not already done) to all the major players we can think of, like yer Russell Crowes etc and indeed the players all of whose Twitter followers are just the sort of people who would probably be happy to chip in, if they know about it. Also using the hashtags such as #savebradfordbulls would pop it up around those interested?
Would Ross publish it in the T&A?

=#4040FFAlthough fans may greet with some relief the news that the deadline to save the Bradford Bulls has been extended until 27th July, it nevertheless means that the uncertainty continues.
In this uncertainty, BullBuilder has been particularly concerned about two groups.
Until the club’s future has been resolved, BullBuilder has undertaken decisive action to help with both of these issues!
In the case of the dedicated coaching and back-office staff whose posts were recently made redundant, we were concerned to do our best to ensure that their commitment to the Bulls’ cause would not lead to financial hardship on their part.
Therefore, we have established a hardship fund to give assistance to any ex-member of staff who needs it.
The fund will be administered by the Bulls’ club pastor Warren Evans. If any supporter would like to contribute to this fund, we guarantee that it will be ring-fenced for the specific purpose of helping these individuals, and will be returned to the contributor if not used in this way. To contribute, go to www.bullbuilder.co.uk/Hardship.aspx, and donate via PayPal, or send a cheque payable to BullBuilder, to Bradford Rugby League Supporters Society Ltd, Suite 2 Buttershaw Works, Buttershaw Lane, Bradford, BD6 2DD. If sending a cheque, please include your contact details and a note that you wish the money to go toward the Hardship fund.
However, BullBuilder’s main brief has always been to support young players at the Bulls. Therefore, we have met coaching staff and parents of junior team players to discuss how best to use our existing funds to ensure that these youngsters are looked after. The clear conclusion was that we could achieve this best by ensuring that the next Academy match, away to Hull KR, goes ahead this weekend. This will be the last Academy match before a four week break coinciding with the international squad’s tour to Australia, and all agreed that it was vital to maintain the morale and cohesion of an exceptional squad, who have consistently achieved excellent results.
Therefore, BullBuilder will pay for coach travel to Hull KR and the presence of a physiotherapist.
Bulls’ Recruitment Manager, Mark Robinson, said, “This is a fantastic gesture! We have an Academy squad that has only lost one game all season and are the envy of many other Superleague clubs. Knowing that the fans value them so highly will be a great boost to them, and it can only help our recruitment and retention of young players at this crucial time.”
Like all other supporters, BullBuilder remains wholly behind efforts to ensure the salvation of the Bulls. Until this is achieved, we will continue to do our best to assist the young players and staff who have contributed so much, and to provide a focus for the fan base at large.
Over £500 raised already. Thanks to all who have contributed!

| As well as the setting up of the hardship fund, I would like to thank the members of Bullbuilder for taking the actions (and making the payments) necessary to ensure the Academy can play their scheduled game at HKR at the weekend.
This was essential.
The players were given this information at training last night (which had been arranged last Tuesday just to see what the latest position was), and it was then a worthwhile session with the goal of a match at the weekend.
BG is only dealing with the financial side of this situation. I cant understand why he is not dealing with the only assets correctly which is the players, given he has Administered football clubs before, they have players and Academies?
Thank you Adey and the Bullbuilders who are living up to the stated aims of the organisation perfectly.

Brilliant,
At least the academy will know Bullbuilder and the fans still value what they do are are actively helping.
Well done to all at Bullbuilder, and to the members and others for putting the cash in to help the players of our clubs future (hopefully...)

Can't take any personal credit for these initiatives (been swamped with with work anyway) - other board members came up with the ideas and did pretty well all the work for them. Look especially to the likes of Minorman, Bradford Badger, Bully Boxer, MDF, Mission...who came up with the ideas and have put a load of time and effort into a cracking job IMO.

Totally baffled me too, given I thought the administration process was (inter alia) supposed to protect and secure the best value from the assets? Not leave them to their own devices.
Various inputs, like the couple who asked me last monday night in some desperation if we knew what was happening with the academy lads since they had seemingly been totally ignored and no-one had even spoken to them, led to us concluding something needed to be done.

| The more people join BullBuilder the more that we will be able to do things like this. The coach for the junior game is coming from our existing funds and not the hardship fund we've set up. Too often fans feel like they don't make a difference, even in the circumstances we find ourselves in now. This is a great example a couple hundred fans who have joined BullBuilder can make a real difference with their contributions. Imagine the things we could do for the acadamy if we had 10% of season ticket holders being members.
If you're not a member of BullBuilder but you like the sound of what we've done previously and what we're doing now then I would implore you to join on the following link, be part of something that's making a difference.

| Reading about this has finally made me decide to join Bullbuilder plus make a donation to the hardship fund. Feel it is the least I can do.
Is it possible to have regular updates as to the amount donated and also how much has been paid out? (obviously don't wish to know individual details of pay outs but just to know we are helping)

| Can anyone tell me if the 'Daily Draw' proceeds go to Bullbuilder or to the Bulls or to anyone else - My standing order is paid to 'Bradford Northern' and it looks like it would be better paid to Bullbuilder until (or if) anything changes re ownership.
