Whats a salary cap ?

It does appear that people here don't understand that if we were to sign a player, we may actually release others to fit them under the salary cap.

I do struggle to understand how we stay under the salary cap when our squad contains such household names as Riley, O'Brien, Harrison, Cooper, Higham, Williams, Currie, Blythe, McCarthy, Dwyer and Evans.

And also promising youngsters like: Hodgson, Bridge, Atkins, J.Monaghan, Briers, Myler, Morley, M.Monaghan, Carvell, Waterhouse, Westwood, Higham, Grix, Wood, Ratchford and Solomona.......

We have quite a few players out of contract at the end of the year. Including Morley, Soloman & Higham who if rumours are to be believed wont be given new contracts.

That should free up a bit of space?
