I nominate the huge bill board at Odsal I saw yesterday advertising the Super League Grand Final on 6th October. What exactly is the point of it and who is it aimed at? Surely not the 10,000 packed into the RFL Superdome? I can assure the Marketing genius who thought it was a good idea, we have absolutely no interest in such far fetched ideas!



PS Mr Marketing, please desist with the silly music after each kick off - its simply embarrassing.

(And before any one has a go, this is all meant to be a little "tongue in cheek" and an effort to lighten the mood)

I didn't even notice it, after the last few years my brain must of been programmed not to bother noticing anything with the words 'grand' or 'final' in it.

The advertising board around the side of the pitch for the Salthorn pub seems pretty pointless, especially since it closed a few years back. Not seen if its still there but it was last season.

It's the RFL's ground - they can advertise their games if they want to.



To be serious, maybe the same ad is at all grounds? We can't blame the RFL for not promoting things and then moan when they do.

Fair point Mr Bulliac. I wasn't wanting to make a big deal of it really, it just made me smile seeing it loom over me as I trudged wearily out of the ground yesterday.
