Whatever happened to Roger Simpson's kid? Is he still on our books?

He'll be under 18's this time I imagine.

Jarrod is Under 16's this year. He's a long way off earning Fullback (his position) as we have a quality player in Curtis Naughton(Under 18's) for starters ahead of him.

Good to see a handful of bulls supporters make the effort, real Shame we weren't tested by a stronger a side as it was quite evident we used this as a training session when it wouldve been nice to have a bigger gate and more intensity, I feel these futures are starting to be a waste of time,I'd rather we'd played a team in our league.

Well it was a competitive match. If a better team went we would have beat you. I understand that we should send a better team but end of the day it was a close game, you did okay but I suspect you will get better as games go by and our younger lads got a run out.

I can't understand why Keighley would want this fixture given that we were already playing Hull this weekend.

I can understand where your coming from with that but we did go, freezing our butts off lol, but it was an enjoyable game, I would have been very worried had you not beaten us given that you had some quality players on the pitch and the fact that they were our youngsters in every sense of the word with the exception of a couple of them who have made first team appearences. At half time my hubby commented that it would be great if we could just get a try under our belt so we didn't get nilled, with Semi Tadullala (sp) sorry Semi, Sam Obst, Korkidas and co on the field you looked pretty strong and dominating. We left feeling the Bulls had done us proud despite losing.

As usual though we enjoyed the visit to Cougar Park, traditional ground but it works, but to be honest could understand the lack of Bulls supporters due to the game against Hull FC tomorrow, so many people are looking at how best to use their money these days.

What was amusing really was the very loud booing going on from the sidelines as soon as the Bulls team came out and everytime they scored but I'm suspecting that this could be a lot worse on Sunday.

yeah cougar park was freezing. good game to say they were young. never looked like winning though.

Forwards wern't moving but what do you expect? 18/19 year olds going up against veterens like Cherryholme and Korkidas.

Keighley didn't look special but they ain't had many games tbf and will get better.

Briggs didn't do much. Fullback bottled it a lot. But otherwise defence was pretty good and McAvoy put some good shots on

Difficult to draw any serious conclusions from games like this, but the young Bull side deserve some credit for getting stuck in and keeping going right to the end.

The forward with the "big blonde hair do" deserves some credit for not cracking under the repeated assertion of the crowd that he looked like "Jedward".

Although at one point he couldn't help but laugh himself.
