Our pre-season just gets better and better, doesn't it?

Many of us have stressed the importance of keeping our key personnel fit, and here we are looking at the possibility of starting the season missing 6 first team players. And there's still plenty of time and friendlies remaining between now and the start of the season so we'll probably pick a few more up too.

Good job Phil Joseph looked good at Castleford. He will probably get a contract now

Lucky it was his PCL and not his ACL or he would be out for the whole season

He did OK for a first match; plenty of effort and hard running but not outstanding (not on his own there) but in a first hit out it's not that important as most of the squad will will still be still concentrating on building up their physical development. Certainly worth another look.

I'm not convinced L'Estrange and Lulia will be fit for the start of the season either.

L'Estrange is fit....... I was talking to him about a week or two ago -_-

I spoke with Brett Kearney on New Years Eve and he said that 'Nas' would be back sooner than they thought but would still miss a couple of Games.

I just hope they let the injury decide when he's fit and don't let the player try to push it too soon. It must be awkward for Nas, coming all this way and then getting an injury and I guess he's chomping at the bit (as I would in the same circumstances) but he's better coming back a bit later than too soon.

Exactly. What is a one or two game spell before another setback compared to a fully fit season. I have high hopes for him, looking forward to seeing him out there.
